Here's an ILC article from 2007, which summarizes a lot of the literature out there about ILC:

    Thanks Nash!

Very interesting...I was surprised to read about the higher risk of mets being in the gastrointestinal areas and how mets there can "hide" by not presenting as a mass - more like a nest or thickening. ILC - it continues to be a sneaky SOB! And...it's scary that some endo pathologists might miss the mets, if they don't know about a patient's history of ILC.

I am printing this article and dragging it with me to my next colonoscopy and my next onco.

I know my surgeon wants to do a 1 year follow up in May....and my onco is kind enough to offer me anything I feel will ease my worries.  At this point, he is not worried about anything.  Sure wish I could be like him.

January of 07 is the month I began the wierd "boob dreams" that led me to my mammogram in Feb that led to the MRI that found my cancer.  WOW the year went fast.

Thanks so much Nash!!   I can always count on my fellow Lobular gals to keep me up to date on the "goings on" of ILC!  Much appreciated!
