Hey ladies, I am going to be in Peoria for the next two days (I'm going to go to the doctors I know, like and trust).  I know I can get answers and help from them regarding my pain, and ovarian issues.

    Keep me in your prayers.

Marg-do you accept paypal?  I forgot to look.

Anna-thinking of you and your surgery.  Check back in when you can!

Odalys and ML-where are you (read that in a sing-songy voice, as that is the way I am thinking it)?

    Gotta go pack,

    Love and prayers,Deb

Just Stopping By Love to you all, I will post later after I go back and catch up. I'm just so tired after working today. And I have a tooth ache.... Turns out I have a cleaning on Monday, so she said she would work me in to see the Dr after. I know it's the chemo causing problems.

Anna thinking of you, hope all went well.

Hello my sweet sisters, I came home last night and have a new hip! The surgery (Tuesday) went well and they treated me really nicely in the hospital (no LE concerns, they did everything I asked for!) and I got lots of physical therapy and exercises and will have a phys, therapist and a nurse come to the house starting on Monday. PT three times a week till I go to the drs for my first appt. in four weeks, I think. The nurse only once a week.

Yep, I am being mercilessly spoiled by hubs and that little dog is so happy to have an-almost-full-time nap partner. I am getting around on crutches. Really don't like the walker. Lots of exercises, bummer, but will do them cause I remember how useful my post-mastectomy/reconstruction exercises were and how happy I was I had done them.

Good to be back. Love to all of you. I could feel you sending good vibes my way. Forget about the weight issues. You are all totally lovable, perfect children of God and you deserve to love yourselves mercilessly.

And no, that was not the Percusset talking.

    Anna

Good to see you, Anna!  You sound good (even with the Percusset in you!).

Gotta go to bed, but wanted to say hi.

I was fantasizing about our meeting trip today!  Let's get plans underway!

That would be a good incentive for me to stop eating myself to an enormous size, anyway!
    Love and prayers, Deb

Mary L - Happy belated birthday!!!  You look great.

Anna - You are so sweet!  Glad to see you are home, doing well and the surgery is behind you now.  Please do take care and let us know how you are doing.

Sorry I haven't been around too much lately.  I've had little computer time.  Last week I had a little scare, was feeling this intense pain on my upper back, between my shoulder blades and could not inhale.  It was scaring me so much I called the onc and had some scans done.  All scans were negative.  It appears I pinched a nerve.  I've been taking flexeril and it feels much better.  Yes, I've been a space cadet with the flexeril but at least the pain is gone.  I'm resting this holiday weekend and think will be all fine be Tuesday.  Boy, I never thought I would be glad to have a pinch nerve.  Life is so weird after dx...isn't it?

Deb - I keep thinking about our get together.  The circle girls are once again planning to hold Pinkstock in August and I am plan to attend.  Everyone is welcomed.  It would be great if y'all can join us too.  What do you think?  Check out the pinkstock thread for more information.

I always get so curious as to what the deleted comments said before being deleted!

    A few things,
    First, ML, you LOOK SKINNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    How's that going?

Second, I forgot to tell you guys that I went to the funeral of my Dad's foster brother yesterday (sad detail), but it was located in the town where I lived until I was four years old.  As we drove to the cemetary, my Aunt (not really my Aunt since Dad was adopted) pointed out the house I first lived in.

I was so curious that I drove past it when the service was over.  I sat in the car staring at the house for a few minutes, when a car pulled up and someone got out and started to go in the house.

Before I knew it, I was yelling out the car to the guy and asking him if I could go inside with him!!!!!!!!!!

    Crazy cancer lady.......

It was so crazy.  I have vague memories of the house (when we lived there it was a 2-flat where we had the downstairs and another family had the upstairs).  I couldn't believe how tiny the downstairs was!  I remembered the winding staircase, I remembered the hallway where we had our hamper, I remembered standing on a chair with a towel tied around me so I could "do the dishes" in the kitchen.

They were so sweet to let me do that.

Ok, anyway, about Pinkstock.  I like the idea of going, but (this is going to sound so lame) I don't know the circle ladies like I know you guys.  I kind of want some time where it's just our November ladies.  Is that dumb?

Either way, I really want to see you guys.

I'm going to try to put up a picture of us.......be right back!
    Love and prayers, Deb

Deb - you are too funny.  I deleted the post because it was a duplicate.  I understand about Pinckstock and wanting just to be us.  I do like the idea to meet in November for our second year anniversary.  I love the family picture.  You guys look great.  Daniel has grown so much.

    hugs,

Deb- you all look great too...No I am not skinny by any stretch of the imagination. Just a good shot by my hubby. And black is very helpful.

But it is a good idea to get some of this off by NOVEMBER...we must meet in November girls. That is a very important month for us all.

I'm going to put aside some money at tax time just for my trip!

Where will we stay? Who will drive and who will fly? I can do either. It would be nice to have my car , but will gas be off the map by then? And how much should I save for this trip....how long of a stay will it be?

    OMG! I'm getting stoked :):):):)

    I'm excited, too!!!!!

Hey, does anyone know how I can save my photobucket slide shows?  Photobucket is mad at me for having "nudity" and has already deleted one of my shots!  They won't even tell me which one.

I tried to explain that it isn't NUDITY, it is a photojournal of BREAST CANCER.

Grr!!!  Help if you know how!

    Love and prayers, Deb

sorry Deb- can't help you there brave woman.

I will be flying- LOL.  Disney has some great resorts.   I just checked travelocity and the resort hotels start at $99 a night in early November.

I will bring my chocolate fondue kit- just kidding- but that would be fun!!

Mary Lou - now that's a thought...hummmmm.  How many people are we talking about?  Disney in November would be great! I might be able to get us special rates/discounts as a Fla resident.  I'll do some research and will post my findings.  I'm so excited.

I would say that we should discuss exact datesand hotels in pm's in case we have stalkers- LOL.

    Hello sisters.

Pull up a chair, grab a plate,

and enjoy a piece of my birthday cake.

    Yeap...it's official...I turned 45 today.

Can you believe it?  I don't feel a day over 25. Laughing

Boy, I have never been so grateful to turn one

year older than today.   I thought 45 was going

to depress me but no way!  I am alive and

cancer free, have a great DH, sweet/loving son,

caring family, and a great group of wonderful

cyber sisters.  What else can I ask for?  Live is good!

Thanks for being so caring, and supportive.

    I love you sisters.
