Angel,
I have a twin sister too!
-
Carol, It's cool to have a twin sister, isn't it! Are you fraternal like me or identical? You are beautiful as is your family! What darling girls!
Vera, What an awesome welcome back present! Bless you for your service.
Angel -
Trigeek - You make one gorgeous bald woman. Funny isn't it, how we feel so great before diagnosis? I felt the same way, there's nothing wrong with me!
Evilelf - great wheels! Love it. What kind of car is that?
Mary - beautiful hair!
-
I LOVE all the photos!
tri...fellow ILC'er...you look great.
evil...being the GTO Girl...of course I love your car. Wanna race? LOL The only thing yours is missing is a pair of wings!
-
Again...everyone lovely pics!!
Angel...beautiful family. Two sets of twin sisters on here! My parents were both twins. My mom had a twin sister, and my dad has a twin sister!!
Trigeek...great photos! I am a runner too, but you have my admiration!!

:::waving:::: I have a twin sister too! :-) She had bc almost 15 years ago when we were 33. We're identical and the only problem is, we live too far apart. :-/ She's really my best friend and always has been.
Evilelf, love the car! Thanks for serving our country.
I am really enjoying all the pictures.
Trigeek, wow, I'm impressed, Ironman competitions! How many of them have you done? I'm lucky to make it all the way through my hour long exercise class.
-
Terry - The dog, the daughter, the dudes...and you...all look great!
Lisa - Perhaps we have a future GTO racer here with your darling little grandson! LOL Right up my ally, so to speak...
-
Lisa: Thank you. Make that three sets with TerryNY! With your parents both being twins their's bound to be more on the way. Maybe your grandson will have them! He is adorable!
TerryNY: Wow, your identical twin is a 15 year survivor! That's inspiring! My twin is my best friend too. She's always been but there were times you wouldn't think so .. being fraternal is different and she and I were Very different growing up but in the end were always there for each other. Mine lives too far away too
LauraGTO: I'm in awe that you're a race car driver! Don't know why, I'm just fascinated by it. I guess because it's always been such a male dominated sport, I Love seeing women doing it!

This is a great thread. I've enjoyed seeing all your beautiful photos. It really is nice to put faces to names I've come to know. Here are a few pics of me and my family.
This is me with my husband and younger son about three months post-bilateral mastectomy:
This next one of me and my DH was taken in October 2007, a year after my surgery (my brother-in-law is behind us):
This is my older son and his girlfriend:
And here's a very important member of our family, Cosmo, our adorable toy poodle (now ten years old):

Charlene-I was just going to start karate right before my dx. My youngest was getting into it so it was going to be a family affair. Maybe next year.

Beth, your PS looks a whoooole lot like Dr. Levine! They could be brothers...
Brenda, I started karate during treatment (rads). What style of karate do you do?
Mary Jo, here are the instructions for posting a photo as per Fumi:
Create your account on Photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com)
If they let you stay logged in, you will be on the page where you can upload pictures. If you are booted off, type in your log-in details and log in on the site. You then need to find where the images are stored on your computer. This bit I can't help you with as they could be anywhere. Go find the image file that you want to post. Click the 'Browse' button to open the upload window.
Click on the image file you want to post and hit "Open."
Click "Submit" to upload the picture to your account.
Make sure the picture has successfully uploaded.
To getting the picture posted on the forum, click in the "Direct Link" box so the code is highlighted and says "Copied". You now have the link, already formatted for the forum, ready to paste into your message.
Go back to the BCO forum and hit "Start a new Conversation" button or "Add your comment" link to post your message along with the picture which you have just successfully uploaded. Click on the small icon to get your picture posted.
A small window will pop up. Click on "Image URL" box, hit "V" key on your keyboard while pressing "Ctrl" key ("Command" key for Mac users") to get the code pasted in the box.
Was the code pasted? If not, go back to #6 and get the code again from your Photobucket account. If yes, then hit "Insert" button.
Congratulations! Now your picture is ready to be posted. Complete your message and hit "Submit" button. -
