LoriFL .. Nice to see you here again
-
Hi Angel
Yes, the groggy is gone. Don't think I'm going to do benadry again when its a workday the next day.
Liz -- what is wrong with your wrist?
-
Hello everyone. Nice day here in bama but turning to rain tonight and then the s word. Yep everybody is in a panic. Could be 3 to 5 inches. We may be paralized for a week. I think its going to be 15 degrees on sunday. Its a cold weekend for sure.
Last night driving home we were headed over the mountain and my lights reflected on something. I stopped and backed up and it was a truck turned over off on the side. I called 911 and they quickly came out. We didn't stay but today there is a white ring on the tree. We couldn't tell if anybody was in the truck. I sure hope nobody got killed.
Today is chemo day and in fact I am sitting in the comfy chair now just waiting for my cocktail to be mixed up.
Jan nice pic again. You have found your calling I do believe.
Jaz what kind of camera are u getting?
Charlene you were an early morning poster today weren't you?
Suz happy birthday.
Liz going after your snow groceries??
Kathy nice to see you back. I don't like glitches.
Jan nice to see u dropping in.
Gone blank and on blackberry and not the easiest to scan about. Know that I am thinking of you all.

Jas - I had surgery on it in December. It was called a deQuervain cyst release. Anywho - the incision healed nicely but apparently I had let it get so bad, there was some major tissue involvement and it is still swollen. I'm using it to much also. Oh well...... Thanks for asking.
Amy no I didn't go to the grocery store. I need to since they're calling for possible snow/ice the first of the week. People are like those in Alabama - they have to have that milk and bread. LOL
Kathy nice to meet you. I pop in now and then.
Janny weather certainly is wacky this year.
Gina it's nice to see everyone isn't it?
Lori how are you?
I am so far behind on everything that I'm just starting here. So everyone else have a peach of a day.
Hugs
Liz

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is staying warm !! It was so cold and windy here today. Sunday is suppose to be worse--high temp.of 11---with a wind chill of minus zero, plus they're calling for possibly a foot or more of the white stuff !!! Can't wait for spring. Why is it, that people can go without bread or milk---till a snowstorm comes, then It's like trying to find gold !! The store shelves go empty !!!
Charlene, I look forward to your angel pictures everyday-thank-you
Jan, You taught yourself how to crochet ??? I wish I could, I'd love to be able to help with the afghans--I'm having a hard enough time trying to learn how to post pictures on here !!!!
Hugs to ALL -
Amy: I don't usually get glitches either. I don't know what happened.
Liz: Nice to meet you also.
Nicki: How are you?
Everyone else have a nice evening.
INKathy
-
Barb - LOL I can't post pics either. Not sure why it won't let me anymore. Nice to meet you. Have I said that? I never know anymore. You can learn to crochet. It's not as hard as you think!
-
Hi Liz,
I use to know how to crochet the granny squares-in fact, I made an afghan, but that was Sooooo long ago, I need a refresher, and some patience !!!! Lately, I don't have much of that. Peter did send me some help on how to post pictures, but I still don't get it !!! Everyone says its easy. -
Oh, tell me it ain't so..............................more talent around here!
Jan: You have taught yourself to crochet????????????????
Liz: I've learned that if I 'prepare' for a storm it ususally doesn't happen!
Jasmine: Hey to you..............still groggy?
Amy: Glad to hear you're holding up and kicking the beasts butt! That is not 'bama' weather, is it?
Hi and good night to all.................DH is wanting the internet to look for the spring for the garage door.........................sometimes being married to a "do it yourselfer" can be a real pain!
Hugs,
Neesie

Hi everyone,
Just a quick run through...going to pop in the chat room. Got my nice cup of chamomile tea here. Got some vegetable soup cooking in the crock pot...smells good.
Barb..I still can't post pics either...got plenty of directions from different people...but,nope,still can't do it. At least you have an avatar...I can't do that either...lol.
Love to all...have a great night's sleep.
Hugs and prayers,
Candie
Happy Birthday,Suz!!!
-
Hi Candie, don't feel bad, I only have an avatar, because my son put it there !!!!
-
Jas ... Glad you got rid of the grogginess. Hope you wake up better tomorrow and your sinuses aren't too bad.
Amy ... Was I early today? I can't remember that far back! LOL Wow about the overturned truck. That's one of the best things about having a cell phone, being able to call for help so quickly. I hope they're okay too. How are you feeling from your chemo today? When is your next scan to see how things are going?
Barb ... Oh brrrrrr! Seeing that you live in Lakeview, do you Really have a view of a lake from your house? I'm glad you enjoy the angel pics. You're very welcome!
INKathy ... How are you?
Candie ... Vegetable soup sounds really good.
Neesie ... Did DH find the spring he needed?
Liz ... always nice to see you pop in
SuzFive ... Hope your birthday was grand! I hope to see you stop by here if you can some time. I miss hearing about you and your family.
Hoping everyone has a good and peaceful nights rest

Hi Circle girls,
Long time no see, hope everyone is doing well, lots of prayers and well wishes for those sisters experiencing hardship right now.You are always in my thoughts and prayers even though I am seldom on the boards these days, I guess I have moved on in some ways but I always return to the place I got the most support at the worst time of my life.
love you girls,
Tina

Good Morning sisters!
AccuWeather chose my Moon floating on a cloud for pic of the day. I'm going to share my gulls and geese instead. There's a little story here...as I was walking back to my truck after taking these photos a lady came out to talk to me. I am thinking oh no, maybe she's wanting to maybe ban me from taking photos! Well she wanted to tell me about the gulls and geese. Seems they have been feeding them morning and night for 8 years now. She said the Canadian Geese fly in at sunset and spend the night and leave in the morning after eating. The Gulls fly in during the morning and leave after evening feeding. I told her that now it made sense why the other night I saw the Canadian Geese flying north east at sunset a few nights ago while I was taking pics. They were heading for her pond not the migratory flight to the north. (I took a couple pics of that but its nothing exciting) She said the neighbors bought ducks for their pond across the road but the ducks flew over to her pond and stayed instead! She told me about one time she drove her truck with the bird feed in the back into town and came out of the bank only to find the gulls circling the truck. They had followed her into town worried about their food. She told me about her husband being a professional photographer and that he had some awesome sunset and gulls/geese shots. I told her why I was taking pics and she then told me I could come back and take pics anytime I wanted to!!! I also told her I used to go out and watch the Canadian Geese and other migratory birds in the rice fields when we lived in Katy, Tx. At that time I didn't have but a camcorder so have a VHS tape of it here someplace. Now on to the photos, I couldn't pick just one!
The gulls are on the ice and the geese were asleep in the water... -
Good morning Campers! Thank goodness its the weekend.
Jan -- those are awesome pictures.
Be back in a bit...
-
Good morning Everyone
Tina: It's so nice to see you stop in. Would love to see you more but happy you are moved on in some ways and aren't on the boards as much! Hope you're doing well.
Wild/Jan: Wow, those pics are amazing! What a cool story too, your neighbor sounds like a really nice lady.
Jasmine: Good morning to you!
-
Good morning Angel! How do you find all these lovely angel pictures? They are lovely.

Charlene: Did I mention the one angel picture you posted yesterday looked alot like you???? Now, don't get all excited thinking I've gotten delirious calling you an angel...........(just kidding)...........but it did look alot like you!
Tina: Good to see you again!
Jasmine: They are nice pics Charlene finds aren't they.............and I'm a collector of Angels.........so they always catch my eye!

Good morning friends. I'm sorry if I worried you by staying away for a few days. There's been a lot going on and not much computer time. The pain I've been having between my shoulder blades is a pinched nerve. I've been taking a muscle relaxer (Flexeril) and the pain is almost gone. The CT scan of chest was normal. I also saw my oncologist and he is very happy at my response to treatment and progress so far. So, please don't worry about me. I am doing good. Mom is also stable and back at home. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
I need to run now but will try to check with everyone later tonight. Have a good day.
-
Neesie ... LOL no you didn't but I went backed and looked and I see how you might graciously say that! Thank you. Now give me that unlined face and youthful perfection and I'd be mighty happy! Oh, remove my horns too. hahaha Enjoy your grandkids fix!
-
Odalys ... So good to hear from you. Ouch, pinched nerves Suck! Glad that's "all" it is. I suffer them a lot and have one now. Flexeril and Soma are both mainstays in my med cabinet with all the knots and muscle spasms that won't ever go away. Happy to hear mom is back home. Gentle hugs to you.

Odalys -- I'm so glad they figured out what was causing your pain and that is wasn't bc related. A strange world when we stand up and cheer for other ailments.
Neesie -- good morning to you!
Tina -- its nice to see you checking in. It sounds like things are going well for you.
Well, I've been out and about and its an absolutely gorgeous day here. I think I can tolerate the cold so much better when its a sunny day. I'm sure we'll get our share of the nasty ice and snow mess soon though. Maybe if I wave my arms and fan them it will head from Texas to Oklahoma instead.
-
Good morning All, --I mean good afternoon !! Not too much time today, have to get ready to go to my sisters house. Just wanted to say hello, and hope everyone has a nice day.
Charlene, I do have a beautiful view of Lake Erie, If I walk to the end of my street ( about a minute away), I can see downtown Buffalo, across the lake, and Canada. -
Thanks Gina.............we'll be on our way very soon
-
