I just did a quick Google search.

Although there is no definitive research supporting it's efficacy, there is likely no harm in it.  It is my understanding that flax seed is a phytoestrogen and there is some research supporting it's use in preventing BC. I think that there are some other threads regarding the use of flax seed that might be of interest to you.

    Good luck.

    Dear mmc,

My mother does the budwig protocol.  Not everything in the diet plan, but does the FO/CC mixture as you can find in Dr. Johana Budwigs book.  There are hundreds of sound testimonies all over the net.  I do it also.  I would get a used book from amazon. This is the title " FlaxOil As A True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer, And Other Diseases".  Here is a great website to help you wade through it if you don't want to buy the book.  http://www.healingcancernaturally.com/budwig_protocol.html

There is solid science behind it.  Good luck!

Thanks I am going to start on the FO/CC.  I've been reading about this protocol for some time.
