Jan, I was just amazed how clear the photo was! I bet you would have a blast up here taking photos of the Northern Lights. My dad is a photogapher and he has taken pictures of the aurora for years. I don't know if he has any on digital or if they are all on film....will have to check and post some if they are digital. He plays with all the exposure times and technical stuff I don't understand. The photos are breathtaking. Anyway...just wanted you to know I really like the pictures.

Now really. What is wrong with posting what to do if someone threatens you via email. I think everyone needs to know that giving too much information can be dangerous and what to do if they receive a threatening email.
Nothing wrong with my song either.
If the moderators feel this post is not appropriate I will back off. Until then.

AMY? where are you that its snowing in the south? its really looking dark here, the drizzle stopped a while ago...I haven't been outside to see how cold it is yet though.
-
DEB>I have only seen the Northern Lights once in my life and it was while camping in Wisconsin as a teen. I bet that is a sight to see with a better view, would love to see those photos if you are able to bring them here.

I'm in Northeast Alabama jan. They predicted flurries turning to rain and then took the flurries out but that was after all the bread and milk had been raided from the stores. lol The snow flurries are falling and I can bet you there is not a loaf of bread within 20 miles of me. lol

Jan - I wasn't told that thanks for the heads up I really appreciate it.
Thanks again.

Gina: Thanks again

If anyone receives threatening emails, they should forward them to the sender's isp with headers and let the isp handle the situation.
-
AMY now that is odd, you are already having snow and we are sitting here in NE Oklahoma expecting it sometime tonight and I don't think its cold enough yet for snow! There must be a really weird system out there today! I am a little peeved I can't take pics of the moon tonight after such a good session last night...

Amy and Cassie,
You gals are 100% right about bringing issues between members to this thread. I lost my temper. I have been a huge supporter of all the gals on BCO, including newcomers in the other forums on this board. Please accept my apology. And Cassie, if you read back further you will discover that my life is far from sad, but rich in friends, life and love.
I hope you'll give the Circle another chance.

KATHY>I don't know why they never tell anyone those facts...everyone that I know with that type surgery has had the same results afterwards!
-
NuttyNickiNurse - I would think that if we are competant enough to be on this board, we would be competant enough to know what to do if someone threatens us. IF someone were to threaten me I definetely wouldn't bring it here to the boards I'd contact the ISP of the person who sent it.
Again, it's all so sad that you people can't keep your personal problems private.

Hi Ladies:
My post op appointment went great! I'm healing nicely and go back in 3 months to talk about nipples.
Jas .. Thank you
Candie .. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Arimidex wasn't behind your knee pain. Alot of Drs. say no but ask alot of bc survivors and see what they say!
Neesie .. Hi, are you dizzy from hopping all over the place? LOL
Thanks, foobs are fab!
Wild/Jan ... Beautiful rain clouds! I love the blue color in that photo!
That was Neesie with the grandson by that name! Could you be her old classmate??? Wouldn't that be wild!
Deb ... I've been feeling mighty flighty myself.
Cassieruns ... So nice to see you again. I remember you from before. I hope you stick around. It Had been nice here again for awhile and it will be again.
Kathy_IN ... Good luck with the gallbladder surgery next week. Let us know when it is.
Amy ... Good question.
-
evansmom thank you for your suggestion. I will put it in my list of things to do.
ANGEL thank you. I see there are some that still like negativity. Hopefully it will pass.
-
Thanks CHARLENE>I thought someone mentioned a grandson with the same name...it would be wild. I just checked the email, the new grandparents are Toni and Rodger Edwards. Now to see what Neese has to say...
Glad your apt went well!
-
LOL Amy...No bread for 20 miles! I have never understood why people grab up bread and milk when it is going to storm....Weird! I have a big pantry though and we could eat for 6 months without ever going to the store if we had too...so maybe I don't sweat it
It was really cold here, down to -27 degrees, until 3 days ago. Then the temp came up to about 25 and we got almost a foot of snow. Now today it is beautiful; about 25 degrees, sunny and no wind...just beautiful. The sun is almost blinding on the snow.
Hope you survive your "snow storm" LOL. We don't close schools here, unless the power for extended periods of time. About 6 years ago the schools were still open, but the roads were bad. People that lived in town were bringing kids to school on snow mobiles

I agree Cassie this has been a nice place as of late. Not really sure why when something goes on in peoples life they like to bring it to others to cause an uproar?
Charlene-glad things went well for you.
-
Oh my gosh Deb I cant imagine. It can be closed here with the prediction of snow. i have a large pantry also and plus I like to have lots of everything and not run out so I would be good for days also.

Charlene: Glad things went well for you. My surgery is Jan. 24th.
Jan: I had bandaid surgery years ago and after that you are suppose to take a laxative to get rid of the gas. No one told me about that either . I was in severe pain all weekend before I found out. They don't seem to care.

I've tried to ask for peace and move forward but I'm really just worn out from all of this. I've been coming here for quite a while and we have had our ups and downs - nothing quite compares with what has gone on in this circle and on this board the last couple of months.
I looked at all of you as my friends - some I was closer to than others; I never wished any of you harm; apologized if I felt I had said something hurtful. I have been totally amazed by the conduct of not just one or two people in this circle but many. It has hurt to watch those that I call friends turn on other friends. It is not flatering.
I absolutely would never have believed some of this stuff a year ago. The amount of hurt that has been tossed out and attacks on someone's character and credibility have been awful. I have kept quite, overlooked and just tried to move on. I think it is quite obvious to everyone here just exactly who can't stand or tolerate each other. One person is not bring all this negativity to the board.
Knowing I'm going to probably get it double barrel here but I can't just sit back and not say what I feel. This is upsetting ! DebC, I have tried to be like you and just move past it and keep quiet - I can't anymore. I see people that I called and considered my friends acting like school yard bullies. Two months ago, I came here to post and there was hardly anyone posting. Knowing things that have gone on first, second and third hand - I think I also know there are motives for the pick up in the post. That is once again a very sad thing -not out caring for each other or wanting the best for each other. Time will tell if I'm wrong.
If we put people on pedestals, - that is our fault - they never ask to be put there. Each of us brought something different and unique to this board and why some of us find what someone else does offensive just because we don't do it or we don't have the time to come here and post is beyond me. Are some of us not putting others on a pedestal equally as high as those that we think have been placed there wrongly? Are we truly looking at things objectively or are we being "loyal".
This is about what it is doing to innocent people who post and really feel we can make our own decisions about people here without having things pointed out to us. What is it about us that we hang on to all this anger and disgust for each other. Would it not be better spent on getting this angry about BC and all the problems and ill defined problems that have come with our treatment?
Everyone has a right to be here - we have said over and over use the ignore button. You won't see the post.
I'm upset, extremely disappointed in those that I called friends and right now, just totally disgusted. I know there are relationships that are beyond repair but ladies can you not just let go of your anger at someone? Jeeze

Very well said Nanium.

Kathy good luck on your gallbladder surgery. I had that done 4 yrs ago and felt sooo much better after. Welcome to our club.
-
Brenda: Yes, I can emphasize with what you are saying. This all needs to stop. To think that a breast cancer survivor would threat another is totally unbelievable.
Im a breast cancer survivor. Im come here to support people and get supported. So Im asking nicely. To those who have so much anger. Just let me be.

OMG Charlene!!! What absolutely gorgeous pictures you draw!!!! You have such a wonderful talent. Thank you for sharing.

Cheri: Really. How many alias do you have?
You and your mean friends just leave me alone.

Nicki I am so shocked that another survivor (or supposed survivor) would threaten another one. I hope that person has been banned.
