Free or reduced priced mammograms

    We have a frequent visitor at work that was asking someone about where she could go to get a free or cheap mammogram.  She has no insurance and was not sure what was available to someone in her position.  Well, of course, the person being asked came to the resident "cancer girl" and asked me if I had any helpful info.  I said she could try calling the American Cancer Society  and that I would ask around about special programs.

    Does anyone have any good information I could pass along?

    A call to the local health dept will be a good start.

    Then try the hospital social worker.  Y-Me may have info too.
