My onc. tried to get me in the trial, but I didn't meet the qualifications, so I was going to go to the U.S. and buy it.  The cost is $3600. a month, so I will wait and hope and pray that the Xeloda will do the job alone.   Does anyone have any ideas how we can get Tykerb (lapatinib) fast tracked for FDA approval in Canada?

    Any info. would be appreciated.

    Hello Diana,

I'll talk to my Onc to find out any information please give me a couple of weeks. I do know they are doing trials in Toronto on Ontario. Please call the Canadian Cancer Society. In London, Ontrario they are doing no trials here. I find the Canadians a little slow comparted to the USA. Let me know how you do.
