    Hi Roxy,

Even fruit can have a lot of natural sugar but I'd rather have the naturally occurring sugars than white processed sugar or artificial sweeteners. IMO.

I have found that the more I avoid processed sweets or any processed foods in general, the less I want them.

However, if I have a strong craving for something terrible, I will have the real thing and to heck with it. Doesn't happen often so that's ok with me.

For sweets that aren't too bad, I might have:

semi frozen blueberries or raspberries, with or without a dollop of whipped cream

    baked apple with cinnamon

frozen banana dipped in a thin layer of dark chocolate or a drizzle of smuckers hard shell

a cup of sweetened hot or cold tea(sometimes that's all I need)

    cup of hot cocoa(homemade)

wheat toast with cinnamon and a smear of buckwheat honey

plain greek yogurt(or any mild yogurt) with a drizzle of buckwheat honey and a sprinkle of nuts.

Before chemo ruined them for me, I would've added frozen grapes and ice pops blechhhhhh

    Hi Roxy,

I love Raw Organic Honey and it has amazing health benefits, and should not be contraindicated with cancer.  Here is some info on it's benefits.  http://whfoods.org/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=96    I like it on toasted Flax Bread, and if you're eating dairy, a little organic butter.  Yum!

In Israel, we have carobs choclate, which is sweet and healthy but not as bad to yr health as regular choclate.
