Today is the first day of the New Year. It is also the last day of Kwanzaa which is Imani and translates to FAITH. On this day, the beginning of the new year we pledge to believe with all our hearts and minds in our people, our parents, our good and dedicated teachers and leaders, and in the greater good of the work we do with and for one another, for the community and for the PEOPLE.

I pray that your Faith will sustain you and your families during this New Year. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.  - Hebrews 11:1 God is able, Stephanie

Thanks Stephanie.  Faith is definitely what gets us through this BC journey, but especially our life.  I wish you all the good things that life has to offer and I hope this year is the best one ever.  I know you have had a very bad year last year with the passing of your father.  Your picture is so sweet.  I know the feeling, as I lost mine almost 10 years ago.  The pain is still there but I have so many wonderful memories.  But I hope it is honestly the best year ever and you have good health and comfort and everthing good that God could possibly send your way.  Prayers and thoughts are with you, Bonny

Hello,  All is well here.  I too wish all of you a healthy and blessed New Year.  Three chemos down and five more to go and I still have the Victory.  May God bless you all.

    Good for you Sabrina,

I'm doing my last countdown for radiation. I'll have 21 down this afternoon with only 10 more to go. I had chemo 1st, surgery twice, and now rads.

    My best to you.

Hi Stephanie.  Update on those rads girl...tomorrow is my last day.:-)

Sabrina, did you do a little celebration after your chemo?  I plan to...a nice dinner out maybe.  The jouney has been a long one.  I'm just grateful my team of people were able to help me.  They've been great.

Not sure what I should do to thank them all.  There are so many that have been there for me during all these treatments (general pract dr., chemo, surgery, pts, & rads).  Any/all suggestions welcomed.  I shall go back and visit them after my radiation check-up in 2 or 3 weeks.  I'll be healed up better by then as well.
