Prayers for Lorenzo

I have heard from Lorenzo and he is having a very bad time.  He lost his job a few months ago, then he lost his apartment and the huge investment he made in it, and  now he's living with his Mom who he loves dearly but she is struggling with METS and she is tired and worn out from all her chemos and he doesn't want to burden her with his anxieties and problems...

Dear God of Peace, who has taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be our strength.  By the might of thy Spirit life us, we pray thee, to thy prescence, where we may be still and know that thou art God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Please help Lorenzo get through these difficulties and find enough peace at night to sleep.

    How nice you have started this thread.

    I'm not sure who Lorenzo is, but I hope he gets some relief from his troubles and wish his mother the best as she faces this horrible disease.

    Patrice, thank you.  Lorenzo had been a member of this forum for a long time, much longer than I have been here. He takes care of his Mother who has mets in Athens.  He has started many threads and prayed for many women here in the past, and now he has asked us to pray for him because he is in such great difficulty and is so discouraged.

    We give to You Lorenzo and ask that You wrap Your loving and healing arms around him and his mother.  Grant them peace and mercy and let them know how much You love them and continue to be with them.  Help us to be what we need to be.  In the name of

    not a nice situation for him

    and his MOM, of course



    Sending out

    the brightest light and

    beautiful angels

    to surround both of them



    You are a dear to start a thread for him



    I'm not in tune much with the board

    and as you know

    off with my family as well



    So important that people help each

    other out

    Please let your light so shine on a son who gives much, yet takes little.



    Aid him now in re-building the simple, too often taken for granted gifts of space, warmth and friends with whom to share.



    Care for his Mother in her own time of need, particularly felt during this holiday season.



    Buoy us all up together as we offer what we may: comradery and support for our mutual needs.

    I want to thank you so much for your prayers, and please keep on praying. My mother this week had a bad UTI with lot of pain and shaking chills, i was really scared. Antibiotics have worked fast, so today she is much better.

    Please continue to pray for my financial issues, i can't handle it anymore.

    Lorenzo....just to say I am thinking of you.....and your current situation. I hope its a case of 'things can only get better' and that the New Year will bring better days for your mother, and that your situation will get easier.

    Prayers for a lifting of these financial problems and for peace of mind for both you and your Mom.  You have always been so supportive of all the ladies here - God bless you and may you feel His support, peace and love in your life now.
