CTG: words are so inadequate to attempt to express admiration and wonder for the beacon that you've provided to us collectively and for me individually. Our prayers come from all faiths and all countries -- literally from around the world we hold you up..... begging for a miracle that you could rebound like SuperWoman.
Our hearts are heavy. The unfairness of this disease is enough to start an avalanche of sorrow. Today I ask for your strength and goodness to be nurtured.... for you to know how much you mean to us, how much you've taught us, how much we're capable of because of your selfless example.
Your legacy will be strong. We will celebrate all that you've given to us. We will honor you as 'queen of the castle' and tell others of your generosity and spirit. You've been a role model for each of us, no matter what our diagnosis or situation.
I trust there will be a party upon your heavenly arrival. I wish you'd outlive us all, making your doctors look uninformed..... but know that when you've had enough of the limitations of this planet, I wish you well among the angels. You've fought bravely. You've shown us how. We will translate our anger over your suffering into voices raised for a CURE for our daughters and grand-daughters.
Mr. CTG and family: thank you for expressing our great love of your loved one.

ctg,
I think about you every day. I hope you are finding some renewed strength. Since i don't go to chat much anymore, i missed talking with you the other day when you came in. I just want you to know that many times you have helped me and many other friends when we were in dark places. I hope you are feeling all the love for you. You are such a special person and i am so glad to have met you in chat. I continue to pray for peace and contentment for you and your family.

Thank you Faith for sharing that. It was truly amazing. I know Laura feels the love and prayers from the room, from all of us. An amazing lady for sure! Love, Peggy
-
ctg, you have all of our hearts, never has anyone ever given so much in this room, who the heck do I get to help me answer the questions? it feels so weird to love someone so much never having met them, you're one amazing lady, hugs bad xoxoxoxoxo
-
Praying for strength, hope and understanding. God is able, Stephanie
-
Once again, faith has said what was in my heart without my even knowing it. I'm sooo glad I got to "talk" to you the other night in chat. Badbabe also said it well - how we can love someone so much that we've never met. It is amazing. My love and prayers continue for you sister.
-
more prayers and hugs for ctg......
-
Ctg, my sister in battle, my friend in cyberspace, my confidante of information. My prayer for you today is simple: love, peace, comfort and blessings. please know that we all miss you and love you even though most of us have never met you.
-
CTG you are our AWESOME PINK WARRIOR! I treasure the times in chat. I can always count on you to know all the latest info. I will always remember the last phone conversation we had, you were the same loving lady we know always thinking of others. I am thankful you are blessed with a wonderful family. Your sisters sound like you and just as sweet. You are so loved by all and I am still praying . It may be that GOD chooses your healing to be in heaven but you will finally be healed. WOW ned in heaven isnt bad. I want you to know I will always love you and cherish all the memories of chats. I also need to thank your hubby for the times we all were in chat and he may have wanted to do things with you and he let you talk . Wow what a good hubby! I know you will be a heavenly angel looking over us. GOD BLESS YOU LAURA......
-
Laura..... know that our prayers continue to rise up. We wish you comfort and peace. We wish you wisdom and acceptance. You have reflected the goodness of our Creator during your time here among us. You have supported & encouraged, loved & goaded, informed & delighted. Your abscence leaves a very genuine void in our chatting. We miss you. We want you to know just how very much you meant to each of us -- as a community and as individuals.
Your example will long be a benchmark for us -- to reach out to newcomers with the wealth of our experience and strength of our caring. Know that we want your suffering to end, yet like children we want you always here with us. Know that we will each savor our memories of your conversations and you will therefore live on in our hearts and in our actions.
Know that we will work diligently to bring clout to the end of this disease, in your name we will march for further funding and research. Your initials will adorn many t-shirts around the globe, as we recall your kindness and encouagement. The tragedy of losing you will be a rallying cry.
I still ask for a miracle, as are so many others. Perhaps one of the miracles will be in the transformation you have made in each of us.
May the depth of our caring bind up your broken-ness and bring you peace and wholeness.
-

Ceilia, you are very welcome. I am glad I am not the only one who felt the love last night.
CTG, hope today is a good day for you hon. It was such a pleasure to see you last night. You still have it. That special something you can't put a finger on. My prayer for you today, sweet sister, is love, peace and comfort, and God willing, a miracle if not today then tomorrow.
Jankay, Hope you are well. Did you get the card i sent? I hope so.

Celene, where were you last night? We missed you !

Ctg, I am sorry I missed you in chat last night because I have missed you for these many weeks. You have seldom been far my thoughts.
You have demonstrated that days are precious between those we hold close. I know your family surrounds you and you them with the circle of love .
The lovely spirit that you are will always be near to the many people you have touched. It will float on the wave of caring that you have so generously given to us.
Love Lazee

With great thanksgiving I express my joy and delight that we were able to gather and celebrate the contribution of our dear Laura, once again in our midst: TOGETHER! Thank you for the technology, the comraderie, the exhuberance and the investment of ctg's energy -- once more spent on our need for sisterhood, actually familyhood.
I'm grateful that Laura's biological family could visually witness the support and emotion from all corners of our planet..... from our bc family. I'm grateful to Scott, who's loaned us our 'queen' on so many occaisions -- for which we will always be grateful, beyond description. Thank you for giving Laura such an incredble husband.
Thank you that so many were able to join the circle, extending their typing fingers in friendship and admiration. The love was tangable, it transcended words on a screen & became something that could be felt by all fortunate to be there in person as well as those sending wishes, blessings and prayers from afar.
I continue to ask for a miracle. Heavenly angels let's show the world of doubters what a miracle looks like. As we await daily news and updates, please bring Laura comfort. Let those who care for her be our love incarnate, wrapping all of these prayers around her with care and tenderness.
I ask that all of those wrestling with issues of faith at the thought of ctg suffering would be given insight & guidance.... that we might transform any anger or depression to work for renewed dedication to confronting this disease -- both on a personal level and societally. May we do everything within our means to celebrate the contribution ctg has made in our lives, while simultaneously finding renewed passion to end all suffering wrought by this beast.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to express that love directly to ctg: in person. That opportunity itself was an answer to many prayers. May she feel our continued prayers with each passing hour. May You give Laura continued affirmation, that she is never alone on this journey... that we hold her up constantly.
Give us each the courage necessary to take the next step we face. We are a community of caring. Thank you for this unique resource that so many before us were never able to experience. Let us never take it for granted. Hold us up. Hold us together. Hold us in your hands.
-
Faith, you have such a way with words!! Thank you for expressing what many of us are feeling.
ctg, even tho i got to chat shortly before you left on sunday night, i am so glad to have been in the chat room with you once again. Your wonderful, caring spirit has enhanced the chatroom for a long time and will continue to do so. You have touched all of our lives in a way that we will never forget. I am grateful to have gotten to know you. I am wishing for peace and contentment for you.
love and hugs,
celia

Beautifully said Faith, your words are both comforting and encouraging. Ctg is very loved and I hope your words let her know that she is never alone, and that we are all always here for her. God Bless all the lovely ladies here . Love and Hugs KLynn

still praying for ctg and still wishing for a miracle........
-
I ask for love & humor thru your days ctg and I ask for comfort and care for your nights. Know that we continue to hold you in our daily thoughts and prayers. Know that we send you giggles instead of tears -- as we remember some of the nonsense from chat: the food fights, the confused couch, the wrangling over the royalty status, cabana boys and all of the other delightful distractions that you either led or participated in. Thanks for being one of the girls!
-
ctg, thinking of you today.....
-
Laura, thinking of you, dear Warrior Sister. Hoping you have a comfortable, peaceful day. Dear Scott, sending prayers of love to you and to Laura's entire family.
-
Ctg,You are the best,so many love you.You entered my heart and from my heart you entered my soul and soul sisters we are.I just feel like I dont have the words, what words can I say to make this better?I just want to make this better for you.I ask God to hold you tight,to take your pain away,to make this all right. This is not right!!! Iam so angry, yet when we talk you are so gracefull so brave,so beautifull and I love you.You have taught me so much,I will do my best to honor the lessons of life given to me by you.We will allways hang upside down you and me, bat sisters, soul sisters,bc sisters,friends......till we talk again............Dawn
-
CTG. I pray for you and Scott today with the rising of the sun. May you bask in that light, in a way that is filled with dignity and honor. I ask that our angels surround you with their comfort. You have been so strong -- thru so much -- for so long. You are an example to each of us and I lift your name up with thanksgiving.
May you find solace in the depth of your life's contribution, even while we despair over the fleeting length of it. May you know the many lives you've touched, the example you've given us and the treasured encouragement we've gleaned from your guidance.
May you rest easily in the warm embrace of your family's loving arms, knowing that your bc family around the world are sending you prayers, wishes, blessings, and thoughts of wholeness.
Know that we will howl at the moon, screaming about injustice and unfairness and then work diligently to honor your caring work among us. Typing thru tears and struggling to articulate my many feelings, know that you've touched our lives and we will always be grateful for your loving gestures of caring, expressed thru your knowledge, intelligence and encouragement.
Our planet earth is not good enough for you. While we continue to beg for a miracle with your name embroidered on it, we know that you will continue to light the way for us..... as you always have.
Continue to trust in the goodness of grace.
Your circle of friends.
