    I battled advanced breast cancer in 95 .over the summer i have had some breathing issues my doctor kept telling me allergies and treated me for allergies i just wasn,t getting bette r.I went to my 6month check up with my oncologist she was suspicious about my breathing problem so i got a cat.scan they found a mass on my left lung ,I was surprised it was on the left my breast cancer was on the right .My doctor not sure if it is from the breast cancer or a seperate new cancer LUNG CANCER..They did a broncoscopy did not get enough tissue so on friday i have surgery for a biopsy,i just want to know so we can start treatment soon ,i hope its from the breast cancer much more treatable than lung cancer....... juli

    Juli, so sorry to read your post, and see it's your first here. So I wish to welcome you, and let you know I'll help in anyway possible as you walk through this new journey.



    While I wish, like you, you didn't have the lung mass, alas it does seem breast is more treatable than lung cancer. This is a sorry state of affairs, isn't it?



    Want to wish you good luck on Friday with the biopsy (glad it's being done, so you have answers). I'll be thinking of you. Let us know how it goes, and we'll join you in the wait... We're good at that here.

    I to had BC in 1995 ( stage 2 ) I was 27 yrs old. I now have IBC advanced and am in treatment.

    Ill be awaiting your results and preying for BC NOT LC.
