    Our Dear ,Sweet Sister {{{MENA}}} Is Hurting!!{let us put a stop to it and send her prayers and bright light}

    and She feels like no one loves Her or Respects Her any longer!

    so she has not posted for a long time!!!

    PLEASE SISTERS, Let us shower this wonderful, loving sweet Sister

    with all we have!!!!

    I Pray She comes to the site, so she can talk with friends and get strength to move beyond!! we can do this Sisters and Brothers!!

    after all, is this not moving beyond??

    Maybe we can make her laugh, take away some of Her Lonlieness,

    and give Her the Strength to fight this da......! Cancer !

    I have been in touch with Mena and posted about it on her very own "MOJO' board that we keep going. According to her own report, she is actually feeling better these days and will be back on these boards once she gets her own laptop. Of course, it can't hurt to cheer her on! Smile

    I don't know this lady, but I'll hold her tight in my thoughts and prayers and hope that one day soon she will gain her strength and come back to this site to visit with her friends and sisters.

    I don't know Mena either.  I remember her posting.  What I want to say to Mena:

    Mena, dear, you are one of our bc sisters.  We have something in common NO ONE ELSE has.  It's not something I would have chosen.  It chose me! 

    We understand the ups and downs that no one else understands. 

    We understand how frightened we can become. 

    We understand how sick and tired we can become. 

    We understand the feeling of many who are not getting or feeling the love and validation one deserves. 

    WE UNDERSTAND AND WE LOVE YOU!  We don't have to KNOW you to love you.  You have a place in our hearts.

    Thanks, Marin, for the update.  Mena, let us know how you are doing.

    OK, I talked to Mena about an hour and a half ago; she was in the examining room waiting to see her doctor and said she'd call back.  Plenty of time has passed, so I just tried calling and I don't get an answer.  Has anybody else gotten through?

    Just talked to Mena briefly; she is back home and it doesn't look like she's going to the hospital.  Didn't get the details because she's having a nice talk with Richie and wants to spend some time with him now, but she'll get back to me tonight or tomorrow morning.

    She Loves many, and "AFTER" She gets settled in, maybe She can come and talk where She sees all of Your sweet messages!

    Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear that Mena has really had a setback....the last I heard from her (which was last week, so obviously alot can happen in a week!), things were looking up and she was chatting about her mojo! That's one thing about her though, right? She's got a helluva spirit!

    Good Morning...just got off the phone with Mena, we talked for a long time and she sounds very upbeat.  She told me she was feeling very bad yesterday; a lot of it had todo with having to see the doctor again.  She's so sick of cancer, of having it take over her life...but she is feeling so much better today.  Doc says there's no need for panic yet....so let's not.

    Puppy, she told me you really cheered her up...talking to you helped a lot.   Mena wants to beat this thing...she wants our prayers and our companionship...and she's ready to fight...

    So that's what we're all gonna do Sweetheart, pray really hard and do all we can, and you know we are all here for you..ALWAYS...and lets focus on positive things...The cards were wonderful; she reads them and rereads them.  She said that after they made her feel really positive and upbeat again.  I now have an up-to-date address.

    BTW, she's a real fan of Project Runway...let's rehabilitate that thread (if they ever get the show rolling again!!!!)..
