I see a naturopath.  In the remote area where I live, that was the best I could do and I was THRILLED to find her.  I also consult with an acupuncturist who is very knowledgable about herbs.  Best wishes!

I have picked and chosen my conventional treatments.  I had bc 10 years ago and chose not to do chemo or radiation, but did choose Tamoxifen since my tumor was HIGHLY ER+.  I also did a lot of supplements, etc. researched on my own because there weren't any alternative meds Drs. anywhere around.  I actually was just getting comfortable that the beast was never coming back and had started eliminating things from my protocol when (8 years out from original diagnosis).....my oncologist found a new primary (there were actually 2 tumors). I guess I didn't get the memo that says once you have had one bc, you are at higher risk for another.  Everyone was amazed that my tumors were actually less aggresive than the first time and a very rare form of bc.  This time, I chose a masectomy and Femara.  The decisions are tough and I have to admit to being more frightened this time than I was the first time.  That's when I found my naturopath since I wanted professional input this time.  Best wishes!
