Anyone tried Acupundture?

It was my first time today.  Would be interested in what others experienced.  He did a lot of what I would consider chiropractic type things and then the needles.  Pretty relaxing.  Kind of expensive.  Hope it sticks.

LOVE my acupunturist!!!  I find it to be VERY relaxing.  I do wish that my insurance covered it!

Do they all operate somewhat the same?  I was surprised at the spinal and other skeletal manipulation.  I didnt know that was part of it. It was $120 for an hour.

I was thinking of trying acupuncture as well. Does it help with the stress and anxiety? How long does it work for?

Probably would have helped if I would have spelled acupuncture correctly?

Diane, I dont know how long it lasts.  this was my first time but it felt very healing and relaxing and I slept great afterwards.i

Blitz, No, mine doesn't do any manipulations, just needles.  I pay $35 per session.  I am probably there for an hour but much of that time is spent relaxing with the needles in and then he comes and 'turns' them to reactivate the points and then I relax again for awhile.  Interesting.....that yours does manipulation....is he also a chiropractor??

I am not sure if he is a chiropractor too.  I am on vacation and tried him on a recommendation from my massage therapist.  For some reason my adjustments and massage do not seem to be lasting very long.  I am stiff a lot.  I wonder if it is the bed here or the twice a week Femera.
