anyone in Israel???
I am an Ameican that lives in Tel Aviv. Just diagnosed 10 days ago with cancer in my left breast. I am doing tests now and going crazy and trying to stay calm and busy. I am so mixed up I forgot to put one of my lenses in my eye and went to work with one lens. My husband looks out of it and makes me feel like a patient. Keeps telling me to rest. SO is there anyone from ISRAEL??????? Jeanette

Jeanette,
Ravdeb is an American who lives in Israel. Just in case she does not see your post, you could send her a Private Message here.

hi Rav Deb. I hear that you live in Israel. I do too. I would like to write to you. I am pretty tense and have all kinds of questions.
SO write to me.

Together we will feel better!

I sent you a pm.

Hi honey, well, I don't live in Israel, but I spent 7 days there in 1981. So that counts.
I know how awful these first few days/weeks are. You will get your feet back under you and be more in control once you find out more.
This cancer dance is slow, long, scary, annoying, and any other adjective you might want to add. But just remember, 90% of us do just fine. And this is a just nasty journey in life, you can and will survive.
I am 9 years post treatment and even getting a little cocky! But no kidding, this is doable, and we will all help you in any way we can.
Gentle hugs, Shirlann

Hi Jeanette,
My niece Naomi works in outpatient oncology at Shaarei Tsedek Hospital.
If it would do you good to have a contact there Naomi is very sweet and speaks fluent Hebrew---She moved to Israel a year ago and is completing her national service in the hospital. If you would like to get in touch send me a
PM and I will get Naomi's number to you.
Take care
