Good morning!!!
Thank you everyone. Warm words of caring and encouragement mean so much to each of us.
Vickie, hopefully the warm wind will start as a gentle breeze today and I am so very thankful for each person that I have met here. Their names are written on my heart and their names are ones that I can't erase from my mind.
ABIGAIL CATHERINE ARRIVED THIS MORNING AT 2:35 AM (MY MOTHER'S BIRTHDAY TODAY TOO) SHE WEIGHED IN AT 5 LBS. 13 OZS. 19 1/2" LONG. SHE IS DOING WONDERFULLY - EVERYTHING IS GOOD. HER MOM IS DOING WELL TOO.
Abby's nana is doing fine; just hate being 5 hours away. I'm tired as I tried to say up and never got into a deep sleep for worrying about not hearing the phone.
Sending warm wishes that everyone will have a great day.
Big hugs, Brenda
-
Hahahaha! Good Morning Sunshine Sister Vickie. One more day and off to a new job! Hope you have a good one.
Nicki
-
Nicki, good morning!!! That was my reaction to the license too. I'll second Vickie's remark about the turkey. Always enjoy the pictures you have with your post.
Well now my mom, Abby and your DH all share the same birthday!!!
I'm so far behind here in "chores" and getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Brenda

Brenda: Thats is the best news I have heard all week. Im so happy for you and your daughter. All that worry and now you have a beautiful grand daughter. Now thats something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Nicki

Good morning Campers!
Miss Vickie -- just two more days to go! Woohoo!

-
Congratulations, Brenda, on the new baby. What a blessing! I am so glad she is healthy and mom is doing well. You have much to be thankful about today.
Cat, thank you for your beautiful post. I will confess that there have been things that I have said and done the past few months that I am not proud of. I am striving to be the supportive, caring person that I have always tried to be. I ask forgiveness to anyone that I have hurt and am glad we can keep this circle. Remember, the knights of the round table? They made the table round so that no knight was any more worthy than any other, they were all equal. I think that may be the sentiment Cat was talking about.
Yeah, Vickie! you'll get through it. Your residents are wise, you have made a good decision.
Great day, I am planning to have one.
-
Brenda, congrats on the new baby girl. That is wonderful news.

THANK YOU !!!
Thanks to each of you for taking joy in my good news. Has been quite a day and this Nana is tired.
Deb, Shokk, Aunt Nessie - I will give her a kiss from each of you and tell her how wonderful each of you think she smells.
Amy, good to see you.
Nicki - hope your hubby had a very good birthday.
Bren, hope you got all that work caught up.
MB, I love being a grandmother too. Guess my two all boy grandsons will be here Thursday. You might not want to share this with your husband but my 10 year old grandson got a rather large doe on Saturday - with a little help from his dad I'm sure.
I'm have gotten some questions today but I just want everyone to know that I haven't had problems with anyone; not upset with anyone. I'm just grateful I got an OK on my test and that the baby arrived and is well. Life is good.
Very quiet tonight, everyone must need a good nights rest to run all those last minute errands and get ready for Thanksgiving. Rest well everyone,
Brenda

Good Morning Everyone. Hoping you all are having a good day. Sort of fun, the day before Thanksgiving.
Vickie: Sunshine sister. Good luck on your last day at work. Your gonna have so much fun with the new job, I just know it. This is for you.
Looks like its gonna be a busy day for many of us. At least Im not cooking - but work will be keeping me very busy. I had to go to 11 hospitals yesterday! I expect today to be worse as the hospitals are trying to discharge everyone they can before Thanksgiving.
Couldnt get by without posting a turkey this morning. Now ya all remember tomorrow. You are what you eat.
BinVa: Hello to you. I sure do love talking to you and I have been missing you. Life is so crazy around the holidays and I hope all is going well for you.
Sheri: You shouldnt be feeling guilty about anything. You are a nice person and loved by many. I think sometimes we just need to go through things. We learn and it makes us a better person. Hoping your play is going well and that you are having fun with it.
Shokk: Hahaha here we go again with the new baby smell. I get to see the twins (great nephews) tomorrow. They are 2 months old now. Im gonna take a whiff of them to get a little of that new baby smell.
Amy: Im waving hello to you. Think I missed ya elsewhere and hoping you have a great day today.
PurpleMB: Sending you a big hug today. I cant wait til you get your new computer so that maybe we can see you on a weekend. I probably wont see ya now - so Im hoping you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. So much to be thankful for.
Brenda: You must be so proud. Nothing like a new baby to put life back into perspecitiv. You surely have lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. DH had a great time on his BD. Im just having so much fun enjoying this entire week. And Im glad that we are friends.
Susan: My gosh, hope you have a wonderful time in Florida. Sometimes life is good! We will miss ya while your gone.
Margo: You too? Florida? Man oh man I am so jealous I could spit lollipops.
Gina: A big hello to you. Keep on trucking.
OK - gotta go, my time is definitely up. Actually Im surprised I had enough time to say hello to many of you. Have a wonderful day today. For those traveling be careful. Yesterday traffic was like a war zone here in Chicago and I expect today to be worse.
Love ya all
Nicki
-
Hi Nicki,
Your little turkey cracks me up. His last stand before ... the end!! He oughta be smiling cause he's gonna make us all so happy tomorrow. Be careful today driving around Chicago.
Thanks for thinking about me .... I've been swamped with work. Have a little more to do today, then the bug man comes, then hurry up and clean before Mr. Tim gets home. I'd clean for the bug man, but I don't have time. sigh ....
Lots of love,
Bren

Wishing all safe travels to visit love ones.......
Have a great Thanksgiving!!!
-
Well! First of all I want to say that I am humbled by all of you wonderful women who are in the process of preparing for a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is you that pull it all together. And the stress - oh my, but then there is the smile of satisfaction when everyone sits down to enjoy their Thanksgiving meal.
Me? Im lucky. Dont have to prepare a thing. Good thing too cause I am such a lousy cook. DH is preparing the appetizer. So I guess I better admit that is one of the things I am thankful for.
CY: It seems like we havent heard from you much. I know you read and answer when you can. So Im wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wonderful family.
Vickie: Im hoping you will stop by and let us know how your last day went.
Bren: Im laughing my arse off. I know I liked the picture this morning but I didnt realize he was giving us the bird too. Hahahahah how appropriate. Yes - holidays are busy busy and stressful too.
DebC: Baby smell a controlled substance. Hahahaha. The car wash I go to has all kinds of scents you can put in your car. New car smell, pine, etc. They should add new baby smell. Tell us what your baking. Inquiring minds want to know.
PurpleMB: Hoping all goes well with your mom. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Naniam: Busy being a grandmother. I cant wait to hear all the details.
BMD and Neese: Ok you can officially wring my neck for admitting I didnt need to do anything for Thanksgiving.
OK - gotta go. Have a good and happy evening.
Nicki
-
Brenda ... Big congratulations Grandma! So happy for you, Tammy and family! Enjoy Abigail.
Hoping everybody has a Very Happy Thanksgiving!
