Is there anyone out there that has had a baby after having delt with breast cancer. I am 31 years old with stage one breast ca, had a lumpectomy, wating for test results to see if it was in the lymph nodes and still wating to see if I need chemo. For sure radiation. This sucks. I just got married 2 1/2 months ago.

Have your checked out www.youngsurvival.org?  It's a forum of young women and many of them have had babies after breast cancer.  Good luck and congratulations on your recent marriage.

    Best wishes,

There's tons of women that go on to have babies after breast cancer.  Most oncologists will tell you to wait two years after treatment, and if you are ER positive and need to take Tamoxifen, you can make a plan with your onc, (and get a good GYN that's in the know about breast cancer) to take tamox for 2 yrs, then stop, have a baby, then finish the other 3 years.

another good resource besides the YSC is www.fertilehope.org

Hey there zuzka, yes I went on to have a baby 3 years after my chemo. I did not lose my periods through chemo, however my chemo was 17 years ago, my suggestion is to talk to the oncs, you can always freeze your eggs etc just in case you cant fall pregnant. Right now concentrate on ridding your body of the bc and I am sure if you are open and honest with your onc they will have a positive outlook in helping you however they can. Special prayers your way
