It was a couple weeks before I turned 51. I'm 52 now.

I was 45 -- found out about six weeks before my 46th birthday.

Hi! I was 42 just turning 43 when I was diagnosed. Although, I had it for a while being my tumor was 6cm didn't show up on my mammos. I am diagnosed with IDC and DCIS Grade 1 stage 3A because of the size. My mother was diagnosed in her early 50's she is 17 years out now and doing well.

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed in April 2 weeks after my 52 birthday. Was a present that was. I had a lumpectomey on Mother's Day weekend followed by 21 tx of radation. I am just waiting around to start hormonal therapy maybe in Aug next year. Blackjack

I was diagnosed in April 07 just 2 weeks before my 38th birthday. Now I'm diagnosed again, this time triple negative with mets to my liver and lungs. I found a lump on my mastectomy side less than 2 months after finishing chemo. As far as we know from family history I am the first with bc.

I was 46 when I was diagnosed with DCIS.

I am 35- Diagonosed in October. I found the lump mysilf on the left side while putting on deodortant the last weekend of September. Had lumpectomy last week of October. Start chemo first week of December.

I was 48 at original dx (2/03) with stage 1 IDC. This year at age 53 I was dx with mets - stage 4.

I was 50 last year when my doctor said 'Happy Birthday, please get a colonoscopy!' That was clean but, whoops, found a breast lump in July...then, whoops, the chest Xray followup had a shadow on the lung...so two stage 1 primary cancers.

i was 34 when dx in 14/8/2007 ..8 weeks pregnant with my first baby ..i had mastectomy for my left side and abortion with port replacement in the same operation day 23/8/2007..now on chemo..it is really scary to start this journey,,,

I am 36 diagnosed Oct 10 2007.
Just found out this thursday that it is invasive ductal carcinoma stage 3, estrogen-,out of 14 lymph nodes three tested postive.
Now entering a battery of tests and scans to see where and if it has spread. I know i am facing chemo and very scared but want to be a survivor also had a rt modified radical mastectomy two weeks ago.

dear amy ..it seems that i walked the same of ur way but lil steps be4 u ,,i satarted chemo at 3rd of okt,and just wanted to say,,hold on and dont be afraid ,,the way is long,,hard but doable,,and we are going to be survivors ,,,just need to walk on...love
