Slonedeb...my gosh...what a thoughtless, heartless woman to tell you that your liver could be shutting down and then tell you you have to wait till next month for an appointment. Call them back and demand to be seen or go to the hospital...insist on talking to your doctor...be a squeaky wheel honey...this is YOUR life not theirs and they have no right to put you on the back burner when you need them the most. You are in my thoughts and prayers...hugs to you.
Hugs to all

Slonedeb, I want to put my voice with all those who said you should not have to wait to see the dr. after being delivered news like that! Please, insist on getting an appt., if you can't, there has to be someone who could see you. Seriously, don't let that nurse get you down. If I can help you find someone to see, let me know. Please take care!
Boo, the puppy sounds cute. Good to see you!
-
Deb-
OK...waiting until Dec is NOT an option!! If you want me too, PM me the doc office phone number and I will call and make them understand they need to see you!! I think as women, maybe sometimes we are to ladylike to really push for what we need....actually, that is not a problem for me! I have a big mouth
If you want me to call, seriously, I will. You need to see someone even if it is just to have them ease your fears. sending lots of prayers.
Hugs

Hi ladies!

Vickie, congrats on the new job! I hope it is just what you wanted. I am just starting to get comfortable in my new job, although some days I still wonder whatever made me think I could do this job!

Slonedeb - if Deb can't get them to see you earlier, I can call them for you. Waiting until 12/4 after the news the nurse gave you is not acceptable! Just let me call for you, I know the exact buttons to push and I won't stop until the doc sees you. Just let me know and I will be happy to help you out.
Nicki - How dare that job of yours (and mine) interfere with our computer time.
Cy - I hope you are feeling much better tonight.
Amy - how are you tonight?
Vickie - when do you start your new job? Is it with a different company?
Puppy, Deb C, Denise, Sheri, Boo, Wild Jan, MB, and Brenda - So nice to see you.
Peter - How are you doing lately?
Okay - I know I'm missing many, sorry. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to all from Amy to Z.
-
Good morning all...running late as usual so I'll be back when I get a break at work.
Love ya's...
I start my new job December 3rd and it is with a different company. Much less work...way more benefits.

Vickie
Oh...SLONEDEB...not yelling at ya honey...just don't want you to miss this...LET DEB CALL YOUR DOCTOR! She'll set thelm straight in a hurry.

Good morning! Once again I have many early meetings...it is funny, I am busy all day, yet I never seem to get a thing done! Oh well, as long as they are still paying me, I am not going to complain!
SloneDeb, Cy, you are still in my prayers. Sending you all the love and hope that I can muster....
Love to all....

Popping in to bring some sunshine your way and hoping you have a wonderful day.
Nicki

Good Morning Everyone, hope your day is off to a sunshine start.
SloanDeb, sometimes you wonder what people are thinking - things just seem to fly out of their mouth. My onc is another one that doesn't do markers because he feels they aren't accurate and often cause unnecessary anxiety and worry.
Cy - what a weekend you had!!! Glad that you are home but please give your body a chance to recoup and heal some. I got a lecture from my doctor a while back that the more I forced myself to go, the worse it made me. Took me awhile to get that through my hard head - but it is very true. I know there is much we feel we "have" to do but I'm hoping there is a way you can get more rest, less stress and let your body gain strength to help you fight. Big hugs your way.
Had the breast MRI on Monday. That darn contrast is the one that makes me sick. I went by myself as they told me I wouldn't need anyone. Seems when that contrast goes in is the MOST important part of the test and they tell you if you get sick, try not to move, deal with it, etc., WHAT??? I didn't think I could handle it, got teary eyed on them. That is so not me but had been an extremely stressful couple of days and I think it was just all to much. Brought back all the things I "had" to do, "had" to get through. Oh, well, that was Monday, today is Wednesday already. Not worried about it showing anything - just a test they wanted me to have since had to have the biopsy.
Tammy is scheduled to have her C-section on Nov. 21st, day before Thanksgiving. Baby stable last week, another ultrasound this Friday.
Wishing all a sunshine day, Brenda

Slonedeb - Wow, glad your doc called you back with good news. That nurse deserves a reprimand for putting you through so much. I tell you, some healthcare practitioners need sensitivity training. Glad we could be here for you.
-
Sloandeb, glad that your oncologist called and you got the "correct" information.
Cy, how has your day been?
Has been very warm here still but they say we are to get thunderstorms after midnight and then cooler temps. We'll see. Everytime they call for rain - they miss it and there has been so little chance of rain.
Hope everyone is safely tucked in for the night. Brenda
