    You probably don't even know I was gone, but I took a mental health break from the boards. Some of you may remember that I had three different biopsies last month, all b9. Well, this past Monday I had my annual MRI and something turned up in my affected breast that the radiologist labeled birads 5, meaning highly likely to be malignant. Totally different part of the breast than the other biopsies. Scared the crap out of me. Had the biopsy (number 4!) and I beat the odds in a good way -- b9.



    During all this it helped my stress level to avoid things breast cancer.

    Hey MOTC,

    I did know you were not around and was wondering where you're gone. I am sorry you were going through a hard time but super glad everything turned out to be OK. Congrats on the B9 results! Woo Hoo!

    I'm so happy for your good news! This sense of impending doom is really difficult to deal with. I hope I reach the point where I have to get away from the boards....for now, I feel like they're my lifeline!

    Those B9 bx's are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Dance!!!!!!!

    MOTC - I'm not on here much anymore so wasn't aware of all you've been going through this past month. But, I'm so glad to hear that everything has turned out b9 for you!

    So happy to see you're back and also happy to hear someone really can beat the odds of a birads 5! Yessssssssss!

    We so often only get to read about (and experience) the flip side of that statistic. Your anxiety level must have been off the charts.  Welcome back MOTC.

    Hi Member, sorry to hear you had been going through a rough patch but so happy everything turned out OK.    Seems we all need to take a break from the boards from time to time but glad you're back.

    I'm pretty good about not worrying, but a BIRADs 5 would scare the crap out of me too.  I'm so glad that you beat the odds.  Keep doing that, okay?  Wink

    Oh wow, MOTC, how awful!  It's good to know that the MRI can produce false-positives...maybe not so good!  Surely not good for the stress level.  We're all extremely happy that it was b9!

    Wow, those girls have given you nothing but trouble these days! I hope all this crazy biopsy stuff is behind you forever. It is enough to just make you nuts, always thinking, "This is it, the other shoes is finally dropping."

    Glad it's benign, sounds like you are on a bumpy ride, time to get off that one.
