Embarrassed myself today

I have just about quit wearing a bra with my reconstructed bionic boobies.  Nothing fits right and what does sorta fit tends to ride up and one side or the other hangs out.  And I don't like yanking on my bra all day long, especially since I teach 14-15-year-olds.

Most of the time, I wear shirts or tops that are either dark-colored or thick enough that my "faux nipples" don't show, but occasionally I like to wear tops that are more filmy or clingy.

I bought a set of silicone "breast petals" to wear under my more "feminine" stuff.  These things have adhesive on them and they are supposed to last for up to 25 uses.  I guess they must be nearing the end of their lifespan, as one of them came loose today and fell out of my shirt.  And me standing in front of a classroom full of kids!

Thankfully, I noticed something falling, and I looked down and grabbed it off the floor immediately and clutched it in my fist until I could sneak over to my desk and put it in one of my desk drawers.  I think most of the kids didn't even see me drop anything.   But I suspect that one girl did, as I looked up to see her grinning at me when I put the thing in my desk.

Man, I'm glad that wasn't a whole prosthesis I dropped.  With my luck, I'd wind up getting written up for it!Yell

Oops!  That must have been embarrassing!!

My sister teaches 8th grade, and she has actually turned down double-breasted suits from me because the buttons were a little "provacatively" placed and she said no way could she wear them with that age group!  I feel your painEmbarassed!

Can you laugh about this? I have a feeling this is going to be one of those stories you tell your grandkids about some day!

That's a good one! Thank god for little girls!

It's a good day when I don't embarrass myself... yesterday I took my son and friend to a ESPN zone, and fell flat on my @ss when coming off the televisioned booth, of course not seeing there was a step.

Let's just say I feel your pain....

Yesterday the most embarrassing thing happened to me. I was walking out to my car after work and made the very dumb decision to duck under a tree. A low hanging branch reached down and grabbed the wig right off my head and deposited it on the ground. I realized what was happening about the same time I saw it hit the ground. I was horrified as I scrambled to pick it up and cover my buzz cut! I couldn't really get the wig on properly in my state of panic, so I ended up just setting it on top of my head and trying to get to my car as quickly as possible. Once safely inside, I took it back off and put the wig liner on first and then carefully repositioned my wig. I looked all around to see if I could spy anyone doubled over in laughter. A couple of folks were outside smoking and someone was sitting inside a car. I'm sure SOMEONE saw me, but they were polite enough not to chase me down, laughing at me. Of course, they would have found me laughing and we could have laughed together.

Note to self: trees are your enemy, for now.

Ha, ha!  I can totally see how a branch could grab your wig - thanks for the chuckle!

That wig + treebranch = embarrassment was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time, Miss S. OMG! Tears are streaming down my face, here - but laughing with you, not at you, my dear...
