Good morning circle, it's a little light out, but definitely cold. Vickie, is your lodge still open? I hope it is and maybe Jasmine or MB could fix us a little breakfast. My coffee is brewing, alas, not starbucks, though. Right now, any coffee is good.
Today is Jeans day at my school. The first Friday (that we are in school) of the month is officially jeans day. The kids look forward to it. Amazing how little it takes to make them happy sometimes.
Deb, Slonedeb, CY, Shrink, Amy, and anyone else who needs some tlc, I offer my support to you. Jankay, did you find your bloomers yet?
-
Good morning Campers.
Hi Sheri -- I love jeans day and thank goodness tomorrow is the weekend.
Lini -- Happy Birthday!

Weekend--POGO time!

Wow! More bday wishes. Thanks girls. Birthday was yesterday. Low-key, just the way I like them. DH bought me a laptop. I was going to try to wean myself once again from here, but now he's made it easier to visit.
Sheri ~ Thank goodness we can jeans any ol' day. That's pracitcally all I own. What's POGO?
HI GRUBBY!!!
-
Happy Belated Birthday Lini!
-
Hey, Lini, Pogo is an online game site. They have card games, casino style games, matching, bingo, bowling, lots of stuff. You play for tokens, so you don't lose any money. I like trying to win the weekly challenges for badges. It's a lot of fun.
Glad you had a good birthday. A laptop is a great birthday present. I would love one. I borrow one from school occasionally, but that isn't really my own. Someday.....
-
Lini, I some how missed this yesterday, but a belated Happy Birthday to you, I hope your birthday was wonderful
Blessings,
Gracie -
Happy (belated) Birthday........glad it was wonderful
Happy Friday to one and all

Hi girls....I know, it has been a long time since I posted. I have been trying to get cancer off my mind, but I guess it never really goes away! Yesterday was my second to the last herceptin treatment, and I have mixed feelings about it. I am supposed to start tamoxifen this week...I know lots of you are/were on it, so if you have any advice it would be much appreciated!
I skimmed through some of the more recent posts. Was glad to see some familiar names as well as new ones. How is everyone? Lini, happy birthday!
*Hugs*

I won't be on the computer much until Sunday night or Monday, but I will try and pop in to see how Amy's scans went and how everyone is doing....I just didn't want to worry anyone....talk to ya in a few days

Wow, haven't been here in awhile! Nice to see some of the ole gang.....puppy and kristen to name a couple!
Kristen: Are you still working on the CD? Sure do hope so, cuz I really want one!! Tamoxoxifen didn't bother me to much...........put me into what I call "mentalpause" but not having the monthly crap was a good side effect for me! I was only on it a year before I was switched to Femara............for me that drug is alot harder. You'll do fine!
Puppy: How's it going with you sweet friend? Doing okay with the treatments(for head) and family wise? Hope so..........keep us posted!
Just got back from AZ so have alot of catching up to do!
Hugs,
Denise

My Son Rocky on the road again.
Kristin, I took the tamox. for the five years
and really very little problems, a little
weight gain, but very doable sweetie!
Tamox. also makes Our bones very strong
which is something we need. please let
me know if I can do anything for you!
Sloandeb,are You doing better today?
Madison, how are You? what is going on with Your
dear Daughter? hope everything is OK!!!

It's a rainy, lazy Saturday morning here....I've got coffee and I am warming up some Cinnabons in the oven...anyone want one? There are plenty! I got the fat-free, calorie free kind (don't I wish! LOL).
Denise, thanks for sharing your experience with tamoxifen! I am going to pick up the prescription today. Yes, the CD is complete, thanks for asking! I am working on getting it up on the internet so that anyone who wants it can get a copy. We are not trying to make any money...ALL profits will be donated to BC research. Anyone who is interested, send me a PM and I will give you the info once I have it so you can check it out (I better not post it since I don't want anyone to think I am trying to solicit sales). Hope your trip to AZ was fun!
Hi Puppy, I did not know that tamox makes our bones stronger...so I guess it is not all bad! Of course, that ‘preventing recurrence' thing is a good side effect too.
Hi Deb, hi AlwaysHope, hi Madison, hi Nicki! I hope you all are doing well. I will check back later to see who else has popped in!
Have a great day.
Kristin
