    I have about had it with the joint/muscle pain on Femara.  Has anyone tried glucosomine and chondroiton (sp) and if so, does it help any?  I have also ordered voltaren cream but haven't received it yet.  Does anyone know if glucosomine is OK to take with with Femara and if you are ER/PR positive?

    Liz, I use Glu/Chron/MSM and yes, it does help.  I also use fish oil which is supposed to help too.  Best wishes!

    Liz, Glucosomine/Chondroitan is helpful to 20% of people w/joint pain.It rebuilds cartiledge, or is alleged to.

    Femara gives me LOTS of edema.(You havent been on it long enough).And glucosomine, made of ground sea shells, made the edema worse.(FOSAMAX gave ME more edema, so I quit it!)Femara gives me QUITE enough in the edema dept.

    And to add insult to injury, I am not part of the 20% who are helped by Glucosomine.

    I'm ER/PR Positive and take Glucosamine.  I'm on Arimidex and I also take Fish Oil.  Where did you order the voltaren cream from?
