NewVicki, are you sick? Peter, are you sick to? I read today that there was going to be a campfire tonight and singing. Does anybody know when that starts? I like those smart quotes, Alwayshope do you know those by heart or do you have to look them up somewhere? Thank you.

Good evening campers! Its been a wonderful Saturday filled with fun shopping, sunny weather and a wonderful evening with friends.
Peter -- I hear you have storms heading your way. I hope that roof keeps you dry and you rest easy. The coyotes are singing their nightly song for us but we know there are no worries because you are watching the perimeter for us.
Lisa -- so glad to see you drop in even if its just for a minute.
Vickie -- thanks for the lovely pictures. They are just what we needed. You have such a gentle kindness about you and a big heart.
Sheri -- Do you mind sending me your sock pattern soon? I'm going to try my hand at a pair of those socks you made a while back.
Jankay -- I heard on the police scanner that you've been racing your wheelchair down the main drag again and popping wheelies. Now you get your little fanny back to the house right this minute.
Pam -- the hot cocoa is delicious. I'm drinking it right now. I cheated a little and poured some coffee in with it to make my cofee mocha. I was going to have some marshmallows but Peter started fighting me over the stick they were on and whipped them plump off into the air and I couldn't find them to stick them back on.
Slonedeb -- gentle hugs and prayers that you are much better this evening. You are in my thoughts.
To all the circle....sweet dreams and gentle hugs.
-
So that's what happened to the marshmallows!
Jas, I tried to email that pattern to you. Let me know if you get it. I was having some trouble with my scanner.
Jankay, you are a little speed demon, aren't you?
Lisa, I haven't told you how nice your family looks. The baby is adorable.
Have a wonderful evening. I'll start working on the coyotes now. Never fear, they won't come near those of you snuggled up to the fire.

Alwayshope that was real funny about the wheelies. You didn't answer me awhile ago I was wondering if you knew all those nice quotes by heart or if you made them up not that it matters anyways.
This place used to be so busy I couldn't keep everybody straight reading about them and their lives. There used to be some funny gals here but I haven't read anything about them. Thank you.

Evening all have to make this a quick walk around and tuck in, as expecting some more bad weather on the way. We have at last had some good rain in Melbourne but also some pretty bad storms at the the same time. No damage at my place but several houses in the area were struck by lightning and caught on fire last night.
Pam thanks for providing some warmth, hot chocolate and marshmallows to roast, Jasmine its ok mate will share with you anytime, did I read you mention christmas shopping, now you are making me feel guilty. Janice wow I know how hard it is for you to type for long periods some times, but what a great post. Sheri thanks for keeping the coyotes away, glad you enjoyed playing cards on the computer.Mary nice to see you post again, thanks for asking about my health, just a little bit run down at the moment. Would think that Jasmine reels off the quotes from her memory, also has some great one liners. Hope you have a good night over there.
Vickie thanks for posting the pic's,they say more than a thousand words ever could, sweet dreams mate, pulling up the nice warm covers over you and checking your fire to make sure it is nice and cosy, take it easy at Sunday School, and have a peaceful Sunday.
The weather looks as though it is going to close in again, so wishing all the best of sweet dreams and a wonderful Sunday.

good morning all
its a frosty one here...
yes Mary...not feeling so well but getting better. My immune system is just not what it was before chemo. Beginning to wonder if the chemo was worth it.
Jankay...I'm sorry your feelings were hurt...I just got your message and I am shocked and dismayed. Seems I don't really know some of our girls at all. Get off the interstate with your wheelchair!!
Shopmama...thank you so much for your sweet call. Love ya sweet sister.
CY...sending lots of prayers your way. Is the infection clearing up. Worrying about you here...you are in the center right where you belong.
Soooo...Jasmine and Peter fighting over the marshmallow sticks huh...not gonna be a happy camper if I step in gooey marshmallow on my way to the loo this morning.
Not many people around the circle last night to sing and hold hands.
Gonna rest today so I won't be on much...will try to pop in later.
-
Good morning friends - A quick drive by to offer my love and support to all those in need. Sending up special prayers to all those in pain, unable to eat, fighting infections, unable to sleep/rest, feeling scared, receiving chemo, recovering from surgery, having family and financial problems and all those who are not posting but are also struggling on this journey. Please hang in there and keep fighting. May God ease your pain and grant you peace.
Love and gentle hugs to all in the circle,
-
Odalys, good to see you popping in this morning.
Jankay, check in when you can and keep us updated on your progress.
Mary, the circle is us, who we are, whoever wants to pull their wagon up. The faces do change, some new ones come in and some take their wagons and move on. We miss them and hope for the best for them. If they want to pull back into the circle for some extra tlc, we welcome them. We aim to make this a special place of comfort for all who are on this journey.
Prayers for Slonedeb and CY right now. Check in girls, so we know how you are doing.

Happy Sunday Campers!
Brrr..its down right chilly here this morning. I've got my blanket wrapped around me waiting for the heat to pop on.
How about if I get breakfast started with some nice scrambled eggs and bacon, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, and plenty of coffee and hot cocoa to go around.
Odalys its nice to see you drop by with such nice words for all of us.

Jasmine, pass some of that breakfast over here! I've got my coffee.
-
No problem Sheri! I sure hope the coffee is a starbuck cafe mocha. Yum!
-
I wish, it's actually Folgers in my own coffee maker. But first thing in the morning it is very welcome.
-
just popping in to see if there is any news from CY. If you are reading and not posting CY, I just want you to know you are in my prayers. Hang in there girlfriend...
Love,

Jankay, yes it is wonderful when people speak right to me. I don't feel so invisible. That Peter has always been nice to me. You and Newvicki and Sheri all talked right to me this morning. I feel good enough to run kick up my heels like a pony in the meadow. I don't know what is going on here but it is easy to sense unrest. How many circles are there? I've been reading more the past few days than ever before. There used to be a gal come on here alot and she was funny and laughed and people took to her. Pardon my asking but did she pass? What a terrible thing seemed like everbody liked her. She talked right to everybody and made jokes. I'm so sorry for you gals and Peter for her passing. I bet you miss her. Alwayshope how come you don't ever talk to me? I ask you questions and everything. Are you shy like me? Hope all your sickness goes away. Thank you.

Don't make me come down there.

There are HUGS for saying,
"I'm so proud of all the things you do!"
HUGS that say, "There's no one else
In all the world like you."There are HUGS for all occasions,
And reasons big and small;
Tiny HUGS and big bear HUGS ...
Short to extra tall! But the nicest HUG is one that says,
"I'm always thinking of you;"
The special kind this brings your way ...
The HUG that says:I love you!
-
Well, I'm off to the movies this afternoon with some friends. I'll be back in a little bit but wanted to give hugs to anyone who needed one.
Gentle hugs from A to Z.
-
I've got play practice this afternoon. The newspaper is coming today to take pictures and interview us. Kind of exciting.
Deb, good to see you pop in, too. Don't be a stranger.
Have a wonderful afternoon.

Hello Purrfect. I don't think we've met before. Glad you found us. There is always someone here to say hi and give support. Do you know the name of the sister who is no longer posting? Sometimes sisters take a break from posting and then come back when they are ready. Some have been banned from the site. Others, like me, mainly post on the weekends because work keeps us very busy during the week with no extra computer time. So, it does not necessary mean they have passed so please don't be sad or worry unecessarily. Keep fighting your battle, take care and keep posting.
Hugs,
-
Hey pet,
I see you are new.
Don't be confused about the circle.
The circle is a bunch of women who care about other women. It was formed during very a difficult time here when many of our sisters were getting sick.
It has withstood many storms and in will continue to do so.
I see today is bible quote day?
There is another one-
Jesus is coming- look busy.
or today's sermon which was about the end of times based on the verses of Timothy:
"Teach and urge these things. If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content."
Maybe when we are done with famous quotes we could do state capitols for $500 Alex!

Gina..I have a T shirt with that quote on it
