Part of my MRI today

Well, today was interesting. I had nearly 3 hours of MRI. The CT machine was on the fritz so I'll do that tomorrow. In the midst of it all, they (radiologist/oncologist) have decided to go ahead and give me the breast MRI with contrast and possibly the 'rest of me'. I was originally told that they don't do this in pregnancy. Today I inquired about that and the response was, "Well, we do it in special situations." So, that's a little spooky.

There still isn't a firm decision as to whether or not they are doing my surgery this coming Tuesday (11/6) but that is why they are rushing to get all the scans done. I insisted on them and my oncologist just ROCKS to get them all pushed through.

Sorry if I'm rambling... I guess I just needed to get that out.

    Hey, Jodi,

It's the weird things that make us feel uneasy. Thanks for posting--it helps to vent concerns. I wish I had some advice other than the standard "hang in there"--which gets old after a while, no matter how well-meaning it is.

You've got a lot on your plate. Glad you have an oncologist you love!
