I have just finished the process... I got the expander out and

the inplants in.. Alot smaller then I thought I would be but that

is ok.  I don't think I could have gone thru another fill.  I am curious

though if anyone could tell me about the nipple part.  How they

make it where they get the skin from and if it hurts.  I am not

into much more pain and if it hurts to much I don't think I need

    nipples on my breast.

    Hi Kim,

there are various ways for a nipple and each doc has a couple he likes to use.  I can almost assure you that it won't hurt much!  Some use some tissue from above the bikini line and that might be uncomfortable.

Most use a star or twist thingy.  Your best bet is to ask the doc or his nurse which he uses.

Congrats on your exchange!!!  It's a long hard road but worth it to get done.  You can count on your new girls looking and feeling even better as they settle in --- honest!!

If you scroll down, you'll find a whole board on breast recon.  Lots of ladies to talk with about recon.
