MARY-ANNE - Awwwww...your friends are so creative! I love it! I have been thinking about your upcoming "improvements"! LOL I wish you the very best! Can you please let me know the enhancement date?
-------------------
Hi Girls - I was without a phone and dsl line for 24 hours! Geesh...cut off my arm, but don't cut off my connectivity! LOL It was horrible...I'd rather be without food and water! LOL But...OMG the phone dude was ADORABLE! LOL He...I mean it...was worth the wait! Just kidding...but he really was cute! I tried to think of a way to get a photo of him, but couldn't think fast enough of a good reason. LOL
Luv ya all...more later...I have lots of catching up to do...

Hi Rock girls..
Just dropped by to wish you all well and Happy Halloween..Here is my Witch Joke..hope no offense to any one..I think it is a hoot...
A WITCH
Two elderly gentlemen, who had been without sex for several years, decided they needed to visit a whore house.
When they arrived at the whorehouse, the Madame took one look at them and decided she wasn't going to waste any of her girls on these two old men. So she used "blow-up" dolls instead. She put the dolls in each man's room and left them to their business.
After the two men were finished, they started for home and got to talking. The first man said, "I think the girl I had was dead. She never moved, talked or groaned...how was it for you?"
The second man replied, "I think mine was a witch."
The first man asked, "How's that?"
"Well," said the second man, "When I nibbled on her breast... she passed gas and flew out the window!"
Hope you had a fun Holiday..Jacqui -
For some reason I thought I would check the board. I didn't realize anyone was still coming here. I guess I better check more often. It's my bedtime now so I have to run. I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween....
-
Maryanne, I love the cake......lol
-
I loved it too Graycie! My friends are the best.
Guess what? I am going to Switzerland for Christmas. My kids will be visiting their Dad this Christmas so I will be spending my first Christmas with DH. My ticket is booked. The only bad part is my dog, she will have to be kenneled over Christmas,so sad.
Fists up!

Hi Ladies,
Its been busy since we got back Tuesday night. I went right back to work on Wednesday so that I get next Friday off when we move as well as the following Monday which was already booked off.
My clothes are still sitting in my suitcase, guess I have to wash them this weekend and then pack them in a box.LOL.
I cannot get into my gmail as my sister was here using my computer and told the computer to remember her when she signed in, now I cant log in under my name....any ideas on how I can get in now. It keeps wanting to flip back to her name and login when I put in mine.
I will try to get back into gmail this weekend.
Love all you ladies, Maryanne what a funny cake, your surgery is towards the end of this month isnt it?
Gotta run and grab a shower, photobucket is down for maintenance so will post some pics on the weekend...
Michele

Saw the cake, MaryAnne, what great friends to do that for you!
Glad you are back Michele.
Halloween was a blast. DD was a Hip Witch and Mommy was a Gorilla ... The Girla-my Dreams! We had an Open House, so there were several families at my house and us Moms took the kids out and guys stayed and handed out candy. Pizza and snacks and beer!
The kids had a blast running and playing and thankfully, no accidents or costumes on fire.
Hope everyone is healthy and happy
-
Hi ladies,
Just taking a breather while packing...
Still cant get into gmail, my sister used my gmail and computer will remember her signin for another week or so...argh.
Have a great day, may check back in tonight depending on how things go....
Have a super day ladies!
Love
Michele

Welcome back! I can't wait to see the pics!
Mary-Anne -
Wow - Switzerland for Christmas! I am sooooooooooooo N-VIOS! My dream has always been to visit St. Moritz! When is your surgery scheduled?
Hi EVERYONE - Hope you're all doing well!
Have a great Wednesday...
-
That's great that you'll be able to have Christmas with your dh, Mary-Anne. Sounds terrific. Sorry about the dog but hey..vacation for the dog, too?
Michele..did you get back on gmail? I'm confused with that. I think I found the right address for you. Can't you just click on that check mark for remembering you on the computer and it will stop remembering right away? It does with my Excite acct I have. Or, just sign out? I have 3 gmail accts and I have to sign in and sign out all the time...
-
Hi Deb,
I did get back into gmail. I will pm you my new address. I had all sorts of problems getting in under my old signin, tried changing the password millions of times. In the end I had to get a new user name to get in.
Laura - how are you? Sorry to hear about your neice....hope she is doing better:) Please pm me your gmail address I have deleted all the old emails and dont have yours! I did attach a few pics on gmail. Will do more later once we get this dreaded move over with.LOL.
Maryanne - Christmas in Switzerland does sound wonderful, all the best on your upcoming surgery.
Gotta get a shower, have a super day all!
Love
Michele
-
Hi all!
Just checking in to say hi...hope you're all well.
Meeshell -
Thanks...my niece seems to be much better. Unfortunately she has had to start taking meds, but they're actually helping her and that's what's important. She is finally joining in and speaking up during her group sessions...that's a big step for her!
-----------------------
Hope you're all doing well. You are all....always in my heart!
-
Well, as you guys know, I have been so sad this week. My irl (in real life) chemo buddy has mets. It made me so sad, for her and scared out of my mind for me.
I had to put her in the fore-front of my mind this morning and I sent her a bouquet and a balloon to her chemo center. I called the Center and it's all brand new now, with windows, on the 4th floor not in the basement. She will have some of the same nurses. This morning was a hard morning.
This week also put me back to day ONE. Panic attacks and crying jags. Thankfully, my onc got me a bone scan today and it's all clear. I saw it and I remember the last one where my shoulders and sternum were lit up ... this time they aren't. So, I asked why the dif .... turns out chemo can cause the bone marrow to react to the radiated stuff they put in you for the test and sometimes we have inflammation due to chemo.
I cried ... tears of joy!
Say prayers for Diana.... she is so patient, so calm and so giving. She speaks sign language. She was a nurse for years alongside her husband, an anestesiologist (sp). And she has mets and held it from me and she still has her faith. She is amazing and I wish her strength.
-
Nothing like a negative bone scan to make your day Kelly.
Does your friend have boney and lung mets?
It is good your friend is staying calm. I will pray for her.
Fists up!
-
Mary-Anne -
When is your surgery?
Kelly -
That's just awful! I'll be designing a shirt for her...will keep you posted.
-
Laura ,my surgery is Nov 22, less than 2 weeks from now! I am getting a little nervous, mostly that I will not like the result...crazy, I know. But surely it will be better than the space I have now. I feel so lopsided.
I was Micheley all day, crack filling and painting, not my face...the bathroom that we are renovating...ourselves....What a lot of work but it is nearing the end, I will post a pic when it is done. I wish I had the before done but didn't think.
Patrick and I are off to see the Bee Movie tonight.
Fists up!
Mary-Anne
-
Oh! How was the BEE MOVIE? T wants to see it, too. There aren't so many "G" movies so I get really excited when there is one since she loves to go to the movies! We just went and saw Nightmare Before Xmas in 3D and it was not that great. I wouldn't recommend it.
I miss the days of really funny movies where you laughed your head off!
-
The Bee movie didn't get great reviews but I laughed out loud several times. The plot was a little thin at times but it is a kids movie...all in all ,very funny and I liked it.
Fists up!

Hello all,
Hope this message finds you all well. I am not sure how to communicate these days, but I hope you pop in here now and then. I am not sure if you are all communicating less (which seems a shame) or by a different means but I hope you are all doing well.
We had a great holiday in Florida and the Carribean although it seems like an age ago now.
I do not have much news - think that it a positive thing. On the subject of movies - I know we are always somewhat behind the States in these things but I would like to recommend Stardust to bring laughter to your lives. It is a PG(parental guidance) here so is suitable for all but the youngest kids. I went on Sunday and it made me laugh a lot.
All the best Jill
-
Hi Jill,
We're all doing good...of course we are all still having to deal with the tension of diagnostic testing and regular Onc visits, but thankfully, we're all keeping busy with every day activities! We do communicate through e-mail in addition to here, so if you're interested, just PM one of us and we'll give you the info.
---------------------
Hope you're all doing well...miss you!

We had a nice trip ......

What a gorgeous picture of Teryn!
Is that Hawaii?<> Wow, one place we have never been.....

Michele
-
I love that pic of Teryn with the sunset in the background. Beautiful!
-
Yep, that's Hawaii. It was such an incredible trip and we won't soon forget it. I hope we have many memories like that in our future ... and enough money and health to do it!!
