MRI - get results back today

Hey tnbc ladies...

I just wanted to "talk" to my BC sisters. I go see my Breast Surgeon today for those wonderful 6 month check-ups. However, today I am really nervous. I had a MRI on Tuesday morning. My Breast Surgeon recommended I do that instead of the Mammogram this time - "just to be double checking everything". I go see him in about an hour and I am just a basket case of nerves.

I am trying to be "strong" about all this BC stuff every 6 months - due to my family (two girls - 12 & 16 - and my husband). My husband really takes it hard every time my check-ups come around. So, I try to put up a "good" front and act like I am not too worried. You know how it is.

Yet, I am sooo worried this time. I think it is because of the MRI.

Well, thanks for listening...any prayers would be great...I'll check back in after my appointment.

    I was the same way!  My BS requested an MRI two months ago because studies show an MRI and mammo  are the best detection.  I was soooo nervous.  I didn't have a follow up scheduled and I was too chicken to call and ask.  I got a routine letter in the mail saying all was fine.  I'm sure yours will be too. 

    It's funny, when I got that letter, I was thinking:  Where are the bells whistles and confetti?  I was so excited.  lol
