nioxin... surgery...?

Hi everyone,


I have a stupid question...  I am having reconstruction on Nov. 7th.  Is it ok to use Nioxing products BEFORE my surgery, or should I wait til AFTER my surgery??

    Why do you think you shouldn't use Nioxin? isn't it just hair care?

    Jennifer,

    If you read the label on the hair treatment bottle, there are vitamins in the Nioxin hair/scalp treatment.  I am just trying to find out if it is ok to use this, since it has vitamins in it, and I am sure it will get absorbed into my skin.

    Thanks!  I forgot to mention the final 'scalp therapy' says to leave it in... do not rinse it out.  It SMELLS like VITAMINS, so I am kind of leary about using it before my surgery on Nov 7th, but I am thinking it should be ok...  It says to use all the products every day, but I don't use them every day...
