Just was thinking that I never mentioned that my ps (or the office) sent flowers to my hospital room after my diep surgery. How nice is that!?!? Anyway, sometimes we say more bad than good so I just wanted to share a nice thing that I really appreciated!

Dianne, you're right.  That was so sweet of the ps.  Where did you have your surgery done?  Hope your recovery is going well.

That was such a lovely touch.  I received a birthday card from my ps and staff and I thought it was so sweet.  It's these little things that separate the ones that love their job from the ones that just go to work everyday.  (in my opinion)

    Hi all

hears another wonderful ps story.  I had a bilat mast last monday and my ps could not do her part b/c I lost to much blood.  She stayed and sewed me up "very pretty".  She visited me in my room at the hospital and called me when I got home.  She said when I am done with all my dr. apt. call her and she will make me beautiful breast.

I don't have a comment about my ps but the anesthesiologist. On the day of the sential node surgery he place a bar of something in my lap while he put in the IV. He told me to smell it and tell him what it was. I couldn't quite make it out then it came to me, vanilla. He said the dentist gives toothbrushes he gives soap. He makes it himself and gives it to his patients. It was still warm from making it in the morning. He said he started making it with his daughter but kept it up after she outgrew it. The following week I had the same doctor, he recognized me. He had brought me another bar.I told him I really liked the soap. He asked what scent he had given me. I told him and what he brought me that day was also vanilla. He asked the nurse to grap something else from his basket in the hallway. She came back with watermelon. It smelled even better than the other. He told me to go ahead and kept the vanilla as well. The nurse later told me he gives them to all the nurses as well as his patients. I may never have him again as a doctor but I don't think I'll forget him.
