Hi Girls!

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows about the first ever conference for Young Women living with Breast Cancer to be held November 2-4 at the downtown Sheraton in Toronto.  Registration is now open.  Please visit www.youngwomensconference.ca for more info & to register.

    I just heard about it. Will be two days post hyst and bilat ooph - but have signed up anyway - heck, I'll be in toronto anyway for surgery, may as well recover there.

    Hi learnin,

    I just noticed that you've had your BRCA testing at the NEORCC in Sudbury.  I am in Sudbury also.

    I've started the 1st of 6 FEC-T chemo sessions on Oct 18/07.  How are you doing?

    Hi Jen,

    Just to clarify... the conference being held in TO is not actually the 'first ever' of it's kind. That distinction goes to the Young and the Breastless event that was held in Vancouver in 2004. Hopefully though, both of these events will be the first of many to offer hope and comfort to young women with breast cancer.
