helping others

MB, I've given all my scarves, wig, wig shampoo, bras and shapers/forms to the woman that owns the local business for that sort of thing.  She finds good homes for "cast-offs" with women who need those things but cannot afford them.

I'm really happy to be able to help out this way.  I encourage everyone else to do the same.  Don't hang onto that stuff.  Get rid of it and make someone very happy.

I decided that as soon as a new person in my town was dxed, my BC stuff was hers. It was a good feeling to give up my comfort stuff, she in turn agreed to give it to the next person.

I already gave away my stuff, too.  When my son's physical therapist's mother-in-law (whoa, what a mouthful!) was dx., I gave her several of my hanky hats and scarves all wrapped up in pretty tissue and a pretty bag.  She was thrilled with it, and it felt great to pass it on.
