canceritis

So, we all have canceritis, right?  Well, today I finished my run (have been running regularly for several months) and came in and was taking a shower.  As I put my leg on the seat in the shower and was spreading the shaving cream, I felt a lump.  So my heart skips a beat and I think, "Oh my God.  It feels like a tumor.  Could it be cancer?"   You know, I feel like a time bomb anyway so I figured this was it.  Then I reach down and feel the other leg.  Same thing on that side.  I quickly realize that it is not a tumor, but in fact, is a well-developed muscle, likely from all the running I have been doing.  DUH!!
