    Hi all



    Are there any young sufferers in the UK. Or even better in the South?

    I am 29 mother of 2 awating a Mastectomy for grade III DCIS

    Hello Poppy - I am in the UK (London), but cannot be called 'young'.....I am old enough to be your mother! I also had a mast ( 6 years ago), followed by chemo and rads, and 5 years of endocrine therapy (2.5 years of tamoxifen, followed by 2.5 years of aromasin).So far, so good.

    Ther is a very supportive UK site, where there are several 'younger' women - I will send you the link.

    Hope everything goes well with your surgery.

    That really great, its not really the younger thing Im that bothered about, it would be nice to maybe meet for a coffe and a chat with somone nearby.
