    Hi all, I was wondering if HER2/neu testing is normally done with a dx of extensive LCIS?  I did not see any mention of it on pathology report from recent excision.  Is this something that I should ask for or is this only done on cases where cancer is invasive?  I'm a bit nervous as report says "Extensive LCIS extending into duct epithelium". I had 4 cm excision on lower inside of breast as well as core needle biopsy at the same time on the lower outside of breast.  All tissue had same dx.  Thanks for any clarification.  I'm trying to learn all I can to feel comfortable with options for treatment.
