hoping someone can help

Options

i had a bilateral skin sparing mastectomy w/ immediate silicone implants a little over 2 years ago and just last week, had my right implant removed due to infection.  i can't put another implant in for at least 3 months, so i need to get some sort of breast form for the time being. i don't want to spend alot of money, because it will only be my "weekend boob" (i wear scrubs to work and they hide the uneveness) my other boob is a b-cup. so, i would love to know where to buy a semi-cheap boob and what size do i get? i am not completely flat on the other side, i'd say it is an a-cup.

thanks for you help.

Try the American Cancer Society.  They gave me a temporary fluff breast, comes in all sizes.  Check out the Reach to Recovery folks there.  God Bless

If you don't have a Reach to Recovery program where you live, here's the page from the American Cancer Society "tlc" catalog that sells inexpensive forms. Their instructions will tell you what size to order, but even if you get it wrong they'll replace them with the right size quickly and easily:

I'm so sorry about the infection, and I hope you're soon feeling well again!

    Very gentle hugs,

I had my implant removed after a year, and was told I couldn't have any more recon.  There are many options out there, but for now, I would try the Amoena 126 Leisure form.  It's comfortable and only @ $20-$30.

    Hi Barbara,

I have read where other ladies found silicone inserts at Wal-Mart of all places!! I am a D+ cup, so they wouldn't work for me, but it seems like a B should be do-able. I saw them displayed in the lingerie dept at my local Wal-Mart a couple of months ago. I can't remember what they are called, though. With any luck, one of the other posters here will be able to tell you!
