Does anyone watch Gay USA

I just started watching this a few months ago http://homepage.mac.com/depeche7/GayUSA/Personal13.html . I get it on my local pbs station at 7:00 pm on saturday nights-- I believe it's syndicated. It's a weekly show with 2 gay hosts, 1 male Andy Humm, 1 female, Ann Northrop who discuss the news pertinent to gays of the week, both national and international, everything from the serious to the comical. They also talk about AIDS news. They sometimes have guests on- for those of you who aren't aware of it.

    Thanks, Amy! I'm gonna check it out next Saturday....and tell my daughter about it too. And BTW, an update on my baby girl....she just started grad school and has been in a bit of a funk over leaving her partner back in Asheville. But she's adjusting well and has joined a gay & lesbian study group in her discipline. Fortunately, gays have a big and active presence on her new campus. Cool

    Marin, that's great there's a gay-lesbian study group for your daughter. I wish they had that when I was in grad school!

    I think the female moderator is so attractive too-- she's not a standard beauty, but she's beautiful.

    They showed the same episode this week as last week, did they do that on your channel too peggee?

    I missed it this week, pink ,so i'm not sure , , but they usually air the same show twice on Saturdays (6:00 & 11:00 PM here in St Pete FL)

    We get it at 7:00 pm on saturday-- not sure if it's more than once. Guess you didn't miss much this week ;).

    It feels like groundhog day on gay usa--- they showed the same episode from 2 weeks ago AGAIN yesterday-- 3 weeks in a row. I get all excited saturdays at 7:00 and then this.... I'm gonna have to write the show and find out what's up.

    Andy Humm wrote back right away-- very cool. here's what he said:

      Free Speech TV, which distributes us nationally, is in pledge mode and only sending us out once a week on Saturdays at 11 PM EDT through this week instead of the usual five times. I alerted WYBE to this because they get the show from an earlier feed, but they obviously have not made the adjustment.   In the meantime, in addition to the podcast online, Free Speech provides online video form per below.   Best,   Andy       PS By the way, if you'd like to be on our e-mail list for weekly program updates, just let me know.   The Gay USA website and podcast are available at GayUSATV

    "Gay USA" is seen in Manhattan on MNN on Thursdays at 11 PM on Time-Warner 34 and RCN 84 and simulcast at www.MNN.org channel 34/84. It is distributed nationally on the Dish Network (Ch. 9415) through Free Speech TV. Go to www.FreeSpeech.org for the schedule. The show now also airs on Saturdays at 7 PM on WYBE in Philadelphia.
