Nicki...You make this a good place...hugs

Nicki -- Ravencaine is dying. They discovered she had lung mets last month and she has been in and out of the hospital getting fluid drained from her lungs. Last week, she went into pallative care as they said chemo wouldn't work for her and there was nothing to be done. She is currently in the hospital on oxygen and morphine. We have been posting about this in the Chat Room Friends forum.
-
HELLO TRACEY
So good to see you once again.I am so happy you like your new job(even if it means we don't see you often enough).I will never forget our gerund lessons!!!! HAHAHA
Seems to me it is time to round up our wagons once again and enjoy the campfire together..all of us....
Hugs all around....SoCal
PS
Oops, Jas..your message came thru before I posted..

I'm recovering my wagon...getting ready for halloween...bright glow in the dark orange fabric with black bats and kittys all over it. Luminaries around my wagon so you'll find me in the dark, skeletons that glow in the dark, pumpkins of every shape and size...and of course...LOTS OF CHOCOLATE!!!
-
Beautifully said by so many...........Gina and Vickie have again put the right words on paper.
I need help in decorating my wagon for fall! Pumpkins are about all I can do!
I can help pull up the logs for a good ole fashioned fall camp fire though! Lots of talk, hot chocolate and warm donuts!
Vickie: I am so happy to be your family.........I know you are out there pretty much alone.........anytime you need anything you call me (your big sister!) and I will be there for you.
Love you all and glad things are getting back to "normal!"
I say we welcome all...........that's what the circle is all about. I tend to shy away from confusion.........I just get to yucky feeling.............we have work to do friends........unfortunately there are alot of ladies and gents out there that need us while going through this crappy journey.
Hugs,
Denise
-
Jasmine: I am so sorry to hear this about Raven. This is very sad. I looked around the site and did see some posts.
I agree with SoCal - this is a time where we need each other. Hold hands and send strength to Raven and her family.

The circle was broken for a short while but has been mended.
Wonderful words by all. I'm glad to see that there is a new beginning and that all is well. I'm praying for Raven and this news has disturbed me. She is a wonderful, caring woman. This alone should show us that we never know how long we will be here to be a member of this wonderful family.
I'm tired.
Goodnight
Liz

Good evening ladies. Trust everyone is enjoying their night. I have a dr. appt. tomorrow in Iowa City. Man, I sure do dread that 15 hrs. in the car up and back. I am anxious/nervous about the xrays, too. Sure hope I am healing and progressing. I know there's a whole bunch of pain when i walk.
So sorry about Raven. I don't know her but I always feel as though I do when one of us gets so ill and passes. God bless her and her family.
Wishing all of you a restful and peaceful nights rest.
-
Making some very fast rounds and tucking everyone in tonight. I have been working on wedding pics between hacking spells LOL. I am feeling a bit better though. Antibiotics are wonderful things.
It's pretty quiet here but I think we can liven things up a bit.
Good night Gina...thanks for the Hamptons...its a wonderful place.
Liz...sweet dreams giggle sister.
Denise...you always bring me a smile...happy dreams to you.
I'm sure Nicki is already in dream land so we'll tiptoe by and wish her happy ones.
Tracey...it is so good to see you...tucking you in with a hug.
goodnight Jasmine.
Sweet dreams Jankay.
I'll send prayers for the same for you Cheri...like them or not.
too tired to go any further...you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Till morning
Vickie

Good evening and good night everyone. I hope everyone has a nice rest. I've been a bit busy the last few days working on a special project for a dear friend. I will post more when I have more time.
-
Just a quick hello. Been busy today and tomorrow will be worse so no time to read up. Hope everyone is doing well. Sweet dreams to all.

Wishing all a good night
and sending prayers to a sister-Raven
-
I have chatted with Ravencaine on many occassions in the chatroom. This news is simply devastating. My tears are falling as I write this. Raven, my thoughts and prayers are with you !
-
Choca -- it is devastating. It happened very quickly and I'm stunned and shocked.
-
Hello sisters and brother. It's been a very difficult day and now come here only to find out Ravencaine is loosing her battle too. I don't personally know her but she is a bc sister. I can't seem to be able to put a couple sentenses together to let you know my dear friend Liz lost her battle with bc yesterday evening. I find comfort in knowing she spent her last days surrounded by the love of her family and friends. I miss her already.
-
So very saddening .....
(((( Jasmine )))) I'm so very sorry to hear of Raven. Praying she's painfree and peaceful.
(((( Odalys )))) I'm also so very sorry to hear of your friend's passing. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Love&Hugs,
Charlene

Just a quick short post before I read backwards any farther (or is it further, regardless...)
Vickie- so well said about this thread. I am not here everyday, but wish I could be. Ya'll are my family too! No one else gets it! Peter is so welcome, where else can he go? Even if he is not "real" as some think. He is up-lifting, caring and part of us now. "Live and Let Live" is a saying I live by, how about ya'll?
I have to keep oin reading back-wards, but wanted to remember these thoughts.

OK - I didn't read back far enough, on purpose. I am glad I missed what happened. I hope no one has left for good. We seem to go thru some of these terrible times every now and then. I have been here a long time and seem to find, those who really belong, are loved by all and feel at home will return, at least I hope so!
So, no long notes, for specific people. Just that I love and miss everyone when I am gone. I try to be here, but living a normal, hectic life keeps me away sometimes. You're in my thoughts and prayers, especially now, when the pink ribbon and bc awareness is all round me... who do I think of? Not even me, but all my bco cyber-sisters (and bros)
christine
ps. is there a way to preview our posts yet? I am the queen of typos!

Just popping in to say goodnight. Had a busy day and it's way past my bedtime.
Jaz, I didn't know about Raven. Thanks for letting us know.
Tracey, good to see you my old friend.
I'll see you all tomorrow.
-
Since I have still not found a way to post pics or links, I am trying this the old way again...
If it does not work I am sorry to use up space. I will go back and try to find the new way. I wish there was a way to preview post, to see if it works or not. Am I just so far behind, or is it not really possible.

May the Circle be Unbroken. Love you guys.

Good morning Dear Friends: Stopping by quickly to say hello. My picture represents the circle of love. There are many who need to be loved and comforted today. So many who are struggling and need our support. And thats what my post is about today. People I have put in the middle of the circle.
...Liz - who has been going through such hard times right now, and still managing to stay above water and offer others comfort.
...Marsha - Who is recovering from her recent surgery.
...Nanium - Who is dealing with caring for an aging parent.
...Ravencaine - who is very sick.
...Odalys - who just lost her friend to bc - I'm sorry to hear that this morning my friend. I remember you talking about her in the past.
...Sherloc - whose family is still grieving the loss of a son, nephew only to find more disturbing news.
...Cheri - who is still dealing with her infected foot and going on that long ride to see her doctor today.
...CY - Who is recovering from recent infections and surgery
...Amy - Who has just started her new chemo.
...Gina - who has just started her new chemo
...Jasmine, Sherloc, Liz, PurpleMB, Tracy, SoCal and Nicki - who are about to lose a good friend. Someone who has bc and been there to support them for a very long time.
I know I have forgotten many. Times are sure hard right now. So many sisters that need our love and support. I send my love to all of you. Hang in tight. We have each other.
