I need all my friends back! This has been my lifeline since I found it! (the site)........I don't remember any tension the first 10 months or so, but things have changed soooooo much. You have no idea how much I love this place and all the fantastic friends I have made. First place I go in the morning and the last place I go at night. I've had the pleasure of meeting several of my friends in person..........what a delight that has been............and I have so many more that I want to meet in person!
This has always been the place to come for consoling, comforting, hugging, complaining, friendship, sisterhood, laughing, joking, teasing each other, crying............just like a family should be.
Hugs to all!

Hey, Did Gina shut us down?!?!?!?! Can't get on her site.........where else can a girl go for a little sympathy????
Hugs,

Hello Ladies and Peter,
I have not had time to post. I have done some reading but then not having time to post. Competing with a 14-year-old and a 10-year-old for computer time lately. They always have the excuse of homework. I have also been so tired lately. I really think it is the change of seasons and the up and down weather we have been having. I also rearranged the furniture in my bedroom and for some reason am having trouble getting used to where the bed is now. Today is my daughter's 21st birthday. She went out to the bar with her friends last night at midnight. She has a low tolerance for alcohol, had a shot and a beer and woke up this morning with a hangover! She will go out again tonight - lots of bars give free drinks on your birthday - she will be passing those on to her friends. I am going to Indiana on Saturday to visit Sara. Saturday is the Purdue-Ohio State game so we have to stay in Indianapolis which is about 50 miles away! Didn't realize the game was this weekend.
The Packers won again on Sunday and Brett Favre broke the record for touchdown passes - only I missed the game as I was driving to Chicago to bring my son food. He was supposed to come home but then had too much work to do. Also thought he could get the game as he has satellite tv but no - we ended up watching Detroit and da Bears.
Cheryl - so sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time. I sure hope all those antibiotics get rid of the infection and your new port will behave. Take care.
CherylnC - your trip will be wonderful - French Polynesia - I would like to sneak into your suitcase. We spent nine months in Micronesia 17 years ago and it was fabulous. I love the islands - want to go back. Sure hope you can shake that cold before you leave.
Cheri - you drove with the camp boot. It must have felt good - but you be careful - don't want you getting in any more accidents!
Marsha - you were in my thoughts and prayers yesterday for your surgery. Hope you are feeling okay.
SoCal - sorry the Padres lost. Like the Brewers - there is always next year.
Nicki - doesn't look like this will be the Bears year - but you never know it is still early. Hope the Cubs will go further.
Charlene - you are sounding better - how are the bowling balls this time? Are you done with the fills? Pet hamsters - my dd had pet hamsters - they were like Houdini and escaped from their cage - usually could find them and get them back right away - once they were gone for a couple days - got into a box of clothes in the closet and ate holes in them! They were cute and fun though.
Peter - I am glad that your tests seem to be good. Would be good if they could find out what is wrong though. Wishing you well.
Margaret - my son called and asked me to bring him some ant killer this weekend. I am glad that you seem to have gotten them under control. I hate bugs of any kind.
Denise - your mini-dumpster diving story was so funny. I am glad you were able to retrieve your card.
Well, I have run out of time - need to get some dinner started. Another thing I am tired of - cooking. Oh well.
Love and hugs to all from A to Z.
Suz
-
Neesie ... Big hugs to you and hoping your hands stop hurting. I'm still here! This has been my lifeline too and still is. I won't let anything change that!
Love ya
Charlene

I was just visiting my home page..........I have posts from a year ago on there. Will someone please tell me how to delete them. When I pull them up I get the message and my only options are SAVE or CANCEL. Edit doesn't do anything..............Thanks!

Neese: I think there is a problem with the site. Hahahaha board withdrawal once again. I have to agree with you that its changed. But I still think this is a wonderful place. Like Gina said, I will always come here to give support to anyone in need.
Suz: But hey, how about them Packers?
BMD: You are right. This used to be a safe place. No controversy was allowed - and thats how I want to keep it. We have so much going on in our lives - just trying to survive everyday. Oh and a big sorry to you also about the Padres. I saw the end of the game, but I was half asleep. It was a heartbreaker.

I'm not leaving either ladies..........we have each other.....things just seem different.
I'm thinking I'll be off the rest of the night..........................cuz of the ole hands............boy that makes me angry................and to most people, I'm sure it sounds like an excuse! I only wish it were! (I'm talking about messing my hands at work!)
Good Night to all!
Hugs,
Denise

Suz ... Good to see you girlfriend! You've been MIA for awhile and I was getting worried! My bowling balls are still hard and sore but better. I'm thinking "nerf" as SoCal suggested and see if that helps me! LOL about your Houdini hampsters! They are so fast I can just see that happening here! Of course you're busy and tired with all the children you have! I think you can justify a second computer for the kids to do their homework on. Your daughter didn't waste any time getting to the bar when she was legal! haha Funny that she got a hang over on that. I hope she does take it easy on the drinks. Brett Favre is a Great quarterback .. sorry to see Marino lose the record but then again records are meant to be broken! Favre deserves it!
I agree, I think this time of the year does contribute to feeling more tired. I hope you find some more energy soon!

Good evening ladies. We are family here and when all is said and done we will be left standing every bit as strong as before with more of lifes lessons learned.
"Haaaanngggg on Sloo-py, Sloopy hang on....
Everynight,

I think it's not realistic to think that a group of people aren't going to see things differently every once in a while, and argue. It's part of being human. It's good to get things off your chest and work through the difference of opinion. No one needs to leave because of it.
Don't worry........be happy.
-
Neesie ... I don't think posts are able to be deleted yet. Nobody thinks you're whining! You have every right as everyone else does to vent about your pain! Good idea to rest the hands. Have a good night!
-
Traci: I do apologize. With all my bad behavior of late, I never even welcomed you. The wagon circle is a wonderful place. Lots of friendship, bonding, support and laughter.
Bin: I forgot to say hello to you. Door prize? Hope its a good one.
Wild/Jan: didnt get to say hello to you in The Hamptons this evening. Hope your day is good. Jasmine might be right, maybe it isnt against the rules to post a website. For some reason I always thought it was.
-
Cheri and Blue ... Well said! Hanging on....
-
Socal, dentist appt went well. Hurt sitting in the chair but they gave me a cushy pillow. I am now the proud owner of a shiny gold crown and a silver wire to hold my teeth in place. If I'm ever broke I can just start pulling out teeth.
Neesie, I'm sorry your hands are hurting. If we can't whine to our friends who can we whine to?
CY, I'm with Charlene, tell that man to sleep somewhere else for a few days. It won't kill him.
Mine use to thrash about in his sleep too. One night his arm came crashing down on my throat. Thought he'd crushed my windpipe, Or whatever it is called. He doesn't do it anymore since he got his bi-pap machine.Suz, good to see you. I talked to Marsha just a bit ago and Cheri spoke with her this morning. She is doing very well. Home and resting and very happy to be rid of the uniboob.
See you all later, gonna go veg for a bit.
-
Blue: Thanks!
Cheri: Hugs
Time to go watch a little television, relax, and just enjoy life a bit.

Hi Char,
The "door prize" remark was a reference to my meltdown the other day about the nurse using me as a promo for their cause. Tonight was a reception for the survivors at the breast center where I was treated. I was whining cause I didn't want to go and I didn't want a stinking door prize. Well ... I had a great time and met a couple of wonderful ladies. I don't know if I won the prize or not. I guess if I did, they'll call me. Also, they're starting a support group next Tuesday night, and the ladies I connected with are going to be there!! Yea! Maybe I won't be alone out here in the VA woods.
Margaret - hows your BIL? Been thinking about him.
Sherloc - I spent $1,000 at the dentist in the last 2 months and need to spend another $4,500. And you can't tell anything different looking at my smile. It was a gum thing. I'd rather have the freakin' Harley back.
Cy - I'm glad you're resting, but I can understand how hard it is to sit still, even if you're in a lot of pain.
Traci - I'm glad to see you!
BMD - What'd you decide about the card?
Oh - BTW ... G's got her website back up.
Love to all those I've missed.

Hello CG's and welcome new sisters. No time to deal with all the drama around here so I won't even go back to read further. So glad to hear Marsha's surgery went well, Charlene, Cheri and Cy are feeling better. May God's healing light surround our circle and grant us peace.

-
Guess I am still in the pissy tent. I will come back when I am in a better mood. I do love you all can't image my life without at this piont in my journey. I have decided not to comment on any drama here again. I will just try to be as supportive as I can.
Bren-I still have not decided what to do about my friend. I will probably send a card.
Sweet dreams all.

-
Still NO ANTS!! I think we got them Neesie.
Suz, try the Terro - that seems to have worked.
Bren, how nice that you got to meet some people at the reception. Saw my BIL tonight. He was in a shared room today and the kid that was sharing the room told my BIL, SIL, and nephew that they were too noisy. They moved my BIL to a private room. He's walking around though.
Cheryl, told you airborne works. Glad your cold is gone.
Brenda/BMD, I think the card would be the perfect thing to do.
Catch up with you all later.
Margaret
-
Just going to wish you peace, rest and a good night.
-
Margaret,
Thank god you guys were too noisy!! Now BIL can rest in his own private room.
/>
I hope he's well enough to head home soon!
-
Well I'm not sure what has happend and I don't think I want to know. Please remember we are all human and that means we may not like what someone else has to say. If that is the case please try your best to be friendly and supportive which is what the circle is all about.
Now then thank you to those that have sent me rays of sunshine via mail and posts. The sun is gone from Seattle for some time and it makes me homesick for San Diego when it's like this. My bandage change went well. One is now removed I still have two large ones that will be there for awhile. The drain is working so far! Yipee! It might come out tomorrow before I get chemo. It was agreed to by all the nurses and Dr Hickman that I can't do normal bandages or even paper tape on my chest. the skin is just too sensative for it they tried some new stuff so we'll see how that looks tomorrow. I just don't know what else they'd use??????
Shelli it's good to see you we've missed you.
Sue, now wonder you're tired running around all over the place, plus a teenager and preteen at home via for computer time. sounds like you need your own computer! Do you need me to send Scott out there to keep the kids busy so you can be on the computer? He really enjoyed the kids. He misses ours.
Any one got a solution to loosing nails? I hate bandages on my finger tips but looks like I will have to go that route as these are getting really bad.
I can only use the pinkies and ring fingers to scratch with now. the others pull loos if I try to use them.
Ok that was just gross typing it sorry.
Hope all are doing well tonight think I may turn in and try to rest some more. I got two movies in today.
Gentle hugs and prayers
