Ok Vickie, Tim may just fly with us, he found out he has 2 weeks of Vacation to burn...we'll see ...but just checked and there is only one direct flight...so we should make plans?...or do they get more?...wish I knew what I was doing....lol...MB
-
choca, I will be able to meet for dinner but not lunch on Friday Sept. 24th (?) are you planning anything for the night of the conference?
-
FLorik - ok hon - it's Friday Sept. 28! . I think the general plan is that everyone is coming back to my house on Friday evening for pj party - or we can also all get together for dinner first and then head over to my house. I really don't mind.
Are you planning on sleeping at my house too?
As for after the conference on Saturday, not sure what everyone's plans are. I'd be very happy to arrange something for any of us who live, or are staying in Tampa area that night.
So gals- if you wanna do something fun after the conference too- let me know!
I am leaving for Europe on Thursday and will not be back until Sept. 22. But that still gives me a week to plan. LOL
Hugs and chocolate xxx
Elaine -
choca- I just pm you
-
Elaine,
I hope your trip is an enjoyable one.
Everyone else going to conference,
I look forward to meeting you all. I'll bring my camera so we can get a FL girls picture. And hopefully some will be "visiting FL" girls.
-
Wow, I'd like to join you on the 28th. Where are you going to meet?
-
Hi! The conference is at Moffitt in Tampa. To register, you must contact FACtors at Moffitt to receieve an invitation. Choca and Thomcat are arranging get togethers (I think) but choca is out of town for the next three weeks. PM me for more info. Can't wait to meet you!
-
Odalys:
I think choca is suggesting that we meet for lunch on the 28th at The Cheesecake Factory at International Plaza but she will be back on the 22nd to firm up the plans, i.e. lunch or dinner and later in the pm.
We'd love for you to join us!
If you're interested in the conference, you can go to Moffitt's website and sign up. Here's the link - http://www.moffitt.usf.edu/ . Look in the lower left hand corner for the FACTORS Annual Breast Cancer Conference and click to register.

Then it's hot!!! We are still hovering around 90 degrees. But the airconditioning in the conference rooms might make you rethink the tank tops. I for one will probably have a sleeveless shirt on because I am always feeling hot ! The evenings are around 70 degrees. Capris are okay. Sandals are too. I don't know if I would go swimming but you might.
-
thanks so much....packing alreadt, cuz no need for summer stuff now....

-

800 number wont work
-
Jankay; Thanks for the information hon.
I just called vicki and mb - they are having a wonderful time. They have a cute pool guy, and the weather is perfect. They wimped out on the tatoos though - they had henna tattoos, not real ones.LOL
Marsha - we will probably be going over to see them on Wednesday or Thursday. I can do either day, but Thursday would be better for me personally - what about you? Please send me a pm with your phone number, then I can call you and we can make arrangements.
Hope everyone is doing well. I am rather tired tonight- it was my son's 21st birthday today. He finally left my house about 1/2 hour ago and has gone out with his friends to have a good time. I just warned him NOT to drive if he has had a drink. Told him I'd rather he called me to pick him up, even if it is in the middle of the night.
Well, I have yet another busy week ahead of me, so I am actually going to go to bed now - early for a change.
Hugs and chocolate xxx to all from A-Z
