Slonedeb, so happy you have the afghan. We are sending you support and hugs.
-
Hello CGs!
Sloanedeb, I'm so happy you got an afghan! Enjoy it.
Fruit fly, oh my!
Life has been pretty hectic lately (in a good way) and I haven't had much time to check in with all of you. Getting ready to leave on vacation, so I'll check in when we get back.
Love,
Jan
-
SloneDeb, hugs to you. I'm so happy you got an afghan. Aren't they the bestest. I don't go into chat very often anymore. Decided I was ignoring the manperson in the evenings. Thought he needed me to annoy him with stupid comments about cars going in circles.
Neesie, only reason I'm not here more is cause it still takes FOREVER for the darn pages to load. Can't stand it. Have to say I do like the way the reorganized the forum list tho. Things are looking up.
-
SloneDeb - I'm sooo happy that you're received your hug-aghan... If you ever feel alone or cold - just wrap yourself in the afghan and you'll be getting hugs from everyone involved in the afghan project!!!
Hugs,
Doreen

Niki you talk about what ever you need to dear and just ignore those that make comments that bother you. 99% of us are here to support each other!
Deb in KY I'm so please you got the afgan! It is wonderful isn;t it.
Well i'm home again they took out the old infected port,(was still infected) left in a drain so we can get it healed and put in a new port on the other side! so my whole chest is really sore!. I will also be off work all week! Can't lift anything for a while but I have to go to the cancer center every day to get the bandages changed by the nurse.
so it looks like I'll get lots of rest this week. Good thing I rented some movies yesterday.
I really need to get back in bed but wanted to check in with you all. the meds are making it hard to see straight.
HUgs & Prayers to all
-
slonedeb! I'm so glad you received your afghan. I miss chatting with you. Haven't been in there in quite awhile.
Cheryl - I'm sorry it's still infected. I am glad to see that you will be home resting all week. I know it's driving you batty but PLEASE take some time for you to recover. Gentle hugs.

Slonedeb, so glad you got your afghan. Enjoy and draw strength from it.
CheryCY, oh my you have just had too much. That danged port. I will be so glad when you can get it out of there. So sorry that they couldn't take it out today. I sure miss our IM chats, my friend. We'll do that again just as soon as you kick this crap in the rear.( gee that sounds funny coming from me.) Get well soon.

-
Slonedeb - So glad you recieved your hugs from us
Denise - I agree, I miss everyone. I do stop by the Hamptons now and then but I just can't keep up with 2 sites. Who am I kidding, I can barely keep up with one
Jan - Have a great trip.
Cheri - Now you know I'm a bit slow so it took me awhile. Love the way you so carefully spell it out for us slow ones LOL
Nicki - Please don't shut up. You know we love you. By the way I have always loved your old signature.
Cheryl - I'm glad your home with a new port in place. Sorry the old one was't fixable. Hope your pain eases soon.
Margaret - Hope your BIL did ok.
Marsha - Thinking of you.
Hi Madison, Sherloc, Doreene, Shel, Liz and CherylnC
Hi to all the rest from A to Z
Sue

Hi to all
Cherylinc, I'd like to know who Sybil is too. Yes, I saw "Desparate" last night. I am not a faithful watcher but I will now to see how the cancer story line pans out
Margaret, hope your BIL's surgery went well and prayers to him
Cy, rest this week. Some good movies....that's what I like to do when I am forced to rest
Deb,I read the newspaper article and your essay. Thanks for sharing. You have a lovely family!!
Peter, thanks
Marsha, I said a prayer for you today--hoping you have a quick recovery
Well, my rash is improving finally. Not so itchy today. So nice of you all to send a hugaghan to slonedeb. She has been thru so much, I usually talk to her in the chat room. My niece is gonna teach me how to crochet, I so want to contribute to the afghans. You are all so great!
Going to watch " Two and a half men"---I love that show-- it is so funny. Have a good nite from A to Z. You are all in my hearts.
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

Hi Girls and Peter,
Well, I'm really starting to get self-conscious about my extremely delinquent attendance here, but I'm not going to let it stop me, cause I'm here now.
CY - I'm sorry I missed you being in the hospital, and I'm so glad you're home. Hugs to you.
Vickie - Sorry you were sick. Hugs to you and sweet Nate.
Nicki - Miss you my friend - how goes the job hunt? I saw one post where it sounded like the administrator was not good, any other news?
Cheri - sorry to hear about your leg, cane, and frustration with the pain and slow progress. I'm hoping it's getting better and better each day.
Angel baby - how are you my friend? You are so good to me, always sending me a hug when I pop in to whine.
Susan - sorry to hear about your aunt
Deb - congrats on the article, it's so frustrating when they get things wrong isn't it? Warren and I are in a article in Bay State Parent's magazine this month about the Making Strides Walk, and they made mistakes in that - contradicting themselves within the same article! Oh well, like you said, if you even help one person...
OK, I read and didn't take notes, and I want to try to get into the Hamptons too before I hit the hay. Warren and I have been trading off being sick all week, and now I've got it AGAIN! I'm getting really sick of being sick!
Love to you all, A to Z
PS. Oh, I just remembered! Hey Liz! I need to find the holiday card thread, but I think if I was on it last year I'm still on it right?
-
Finally home. Thanks for all the well wishes for my BIL. I think he came through his surgery fine and the doctor doesn't think he will lose his sense of smell or taste, so that's a good thing.
Neesie, I think the ants are almost gone! We checked when we got home and there were only about 4 on the wall.
Cheryl, he had the surgery at Kaiser in Redwood City. He went to Kaiser in Folsom and wasn't comfortable with the doctor. I saw Desperate Housewives last night, I forgot Lynnette had cancer last year. I had a hard time watching some of that story line.
Deb from KY, how nice that you got an afghan. When you use it, you can think of us.
CY, glad the infected port is gone; you're slowly getting there, hope the drain is gone soon. Rest well.
Marsha, I was thinking of you today. Hope things went well.
Colleen, we like to see you whenever and wherever.
Thanks again everyone for your positive thoughts and prayers for my BIL Jamie. I know it helped.
Margaret

Hello all. Home from the pet store and Audrey's two new pet hampsters are having fun in their cage in her room. Moon and Star. Cool names. They're very cute Teddy Bear Hampsters. I never knew there were different kinds!
I talked to Jankay today. She's home and sounds good. Peter, she wanted me to tell you something about sneaking under the bed but I can't quite remember her exact words! Her internet is down but she's hoping to have it back tomorrow sometime.
Cheri .. 'everynight' hahahahahaha
Thanks for the fun ride on the magic carpet today! Glad I had my bubblewrap!
Margaret .. I'm happy to hear your BIL's surgery went well.
Neesie .. I think you'd enjoy the Cabana, please come!

Slonedeb .. Awwww, so happy you got an afghan. Good for you! Enjoy all the hugs and love.

CY .. You take care and stay ahead of that pain if you can! I'm glad you're getting some rest.
BooSue .. Try keeping up with 3 sites!
Candie .. Glad your rash is better!
Colleen .. So good to see you my friend! I'm sorry you and Warren have been sick. Seems to be a big time for that! I'm glad you just pop in when you can! More hugs for you sweetie.
Everyone else from A - Z you're always in my heart and in my thoughts.
Love&Hugs,Charlene

Margaret, I'm glad to hear Jamie came through surgery okay. I sure hope his sense of smell and taste remain intact. I know how worried you must be. He's in my prayers, as you are.
Love, Brenda
PS - It's late and I'll catch up with all the rest tomorrow.
