    Just poppin in quick at work and wish everyone a wonderful day.

    Margaret...keeping BIL in my prayers...my mother had surgery for a brain tumor too and came through the surgery very well.

    Marsha dear...we are with you all day today...gentle hugs and a speedy recover.  Love ya.

    Deb from KY.............anyplace you post is just fine!  I'm just so happy that you received a "hugaghan!"  You are loved and hope you find the comfort of all our hugs!

    Stopping by to say Hi...............seems like that is all anybody is doing lately.....sure hope we get our "unity" back on this site soon.  I sure miss it. Let's work on it friends!!

    Cheri:  Hope the swelling is going, going, gone...........!

    Margaret:  Hoping to hear soon how your BIL is doing.

    Marsha:  Has anyone heard about Marsha?  Hope her DH is going to let someone know how things went.

    Yucky, rainy day here...........made me very lazy.  Of course we all know it doesn't take much to make me that way!

    I don't know if I'll make it back here tonight or not..............gotta go tangle with the office (via phone) over a new client for tomorrow.  My zest for the job is gone................not good, thought I was just going through a period this summer...............but it didn't come back.  Can't drag along with a attitude in my job..........decisions, decisions!

    SloneDeb, hugs to you. I'm so happy you got an afghan. Aren't they the bestest.  I don't go into chat very often anymore. Decided I was ignoring the manperson in the evenings. Thought he needed me to annoy him with stupid comments about cars going in circles.

    Neesie, only reason I'm not here more is cause it still takes FOREVER for the darn pages to load. Can't stand it. Have to say I do like the way the reorganized the forum list tho. Things are looking up.

    SloneDeb - I'm sooo happy that you're received your hug-aghan...  If you ever feel alone or cold - just wrap yourself in the afghan and you'll be getting hugs from everyone involved in the afghan project!!!

    Deb in KY I'm so please you got the afgan! It is wonderful isn;t it.

    Well i'm home again they took out the old infected port,(was still infected) left in a drain so we can get it healed and put in a new port on the other side! so my whole chest is really sore!. I will also be off work all week! Can't lift anything for a while but I have to go to the cancer center every day to get the bandages changed by the nurse.

    so it looks like I'll get lots of rest this week. Good thing I rented some movies yesterday.

    I really need to get back in bed but wanted to check in with you all. the meds are making it hard to see straight.

    slonedeb!  I'm so glad you received your afghan.  I miss chatting with you.  Haven't been in there in quite awhile. 

    Cheryl - I'm sorry it's still infected. I am glad to see that you will be home resting all week.  I know it's driving you batty but PLEASE take some time for you to recover.  Gentle hugs.

    CheryCY, oh my you have just had too much. That danged port. I will be so glad when you can get it out of there. So sorry that they couldn't take it out today. I sure miss our IM chats, my friend. We'll do that again just as soon as you kick this crap in the rear.( gee that sounds funny coming from me.) Get well soon.

    Well, my rash is improving finally. Not so itchy today. So nice of you all to send a hugaghan to slonedeb. She has been thru so much, I usually talk to her in the chat room. My niece is gonna teach me how to crochet, I so want to contribute to the afghans. You are all so great!

    CY - I'm sorry I missed you being in the hospital, and I'm so glad you're home. Hugs to you.

    Nicki - Miss you my friend - how goes the job hunt? I saw one post where it sounded like the administrator was not good, any other news?

    Cheri - sorry to hear about your leg, cane, and frustration with the pain and slow progress. I'm hoping it's getting better and better each day.

    Angel baby - how are you my friend? You are so good to me, always sending me a hug when I pop in to whine.

    Susan - sorry to hear about your aunt

    Deb - congrats on the article, it's so frustrating when they get things wrong isn't it? Warren and I are in a article in Bay State Parent's magazine this month about the Making Strides Walk, and they made mistakes in that - contradicting themselves within the same article! Oh well, like you said, if you even help one person...

    OK, I read and didn't take notes, and I want to try to get into the Hamptons too before I hit the hay. Warren and I have been trading off being sick all week, and now I've got it AGAIN! I'm getting really sick of being sick!

    Finally home.  Thanks for all the well wishes for my BIL.  I think he came through his surgery fine and the doctor doesn't think he will lose his sense of smell or taste, so that's a good thing.

    Neesie, I think the ants are almost gone!  We checked when we got home and there were only about 4 on the wall.

    Cheryl, he had the surgery at Kaiser in Redwood City.  He went to Kaiser in Folsom and wasn't comfortable with the doctor.  I saw Desperate Housewives last night, I forgot Lynnette had cancer last year.  I had a hard time watching some of that story line.

    Deb from KY, how nice that you got an afghan.  When you use it, you can think of us.

    CY, glad the infected port is gone; you're slowly getting there, hope the drain is gone soon.  Rest well.

    Marsha, I was thinking of you today.  Hope things went well.

    Colleen, we like to see you whenever and wherever.

    Thanks again everyone for your positive thoughts and prayers for my BIL Jamie.  I know it helped.

    Hello all.  Home from the pet store and Audrey's two new pet hampsters are having fun in their cage in her room.  Moon and Star. Cool names.  They're very cute Teddy Bear Hampsters.  I never knew there were different kinds!

    I talked to Jankay today.  She's home and sounds good.  Peter, she wanted me to tell you something about sneaking under the bed but I can't quite remember her exact words!  Her internet is down but she's hoping to have it back tomorrow sometime.

    Margaret,  I'm glad to hear Jamie came through surgery okay. I sure hope his sense of smell and taste remain intact.  I know how worried you must be.  He's in my prayers, as you are.
