Wishing all my sister a great Sunday
I have just posted the same on the hamptons, Although I have read all of your posts it still feels like I am cheating using copy/paste, but wanted to say hello to my sisters before I go to bed.
Had a nice and relaxing Sunday today, the weather was not the best so stayed inside most of the day and just relaxed. Nothing very much on the cards tomorrow but have a Doctors appointment on Tuesday to get the results of the tests I had last week
I would just like to thank you all for the very positive and supportive comments made about the post I made in answer to Shokk. I did not mean to write as much as I did as I am sure you have all heard it before, but your kind words were very much appreciated.................
CherylnC glad you are feeling better and hope you have a nice and relaxing Sunday.
Candie, thanks for your pm and glad things have settled down for you. I will let you know the results when I find out on Tuesday. Hope you enjoy your Sunday.
Donna Hope you have an enjoyable time away over the weekend.
Jasmine wishing you the best for the weekend
Vickie, Wishing you all the best with Sunday School today, know your plans will work out fine, really enjoyed chatting to you last night sweet friend and seeing that fantastic photo you posted of yourself on the party thread, have a great Sunday, and watch out for them mean censors on myspace .
Margaret your posts are so informative for me had to look up what mojitos are and then what kind of drink a cosmo is. Not sure about the mojito as I get a headache from white rum, but will give them both a test during summer. Hope the ant problem clears up and things get back to normal around you home.
Denise, that was so funny about the mini dumpster, can relate to how you must have been feeling as tossed my keys in one once and they sank towards the bottom, hope your Sunday is more relaxing mate.
Madison Glad to hear your baby is on the road to recovery, but you can keep the vets bills, and just want to let you know how much your work on the afghans is appreciated.
Bren Enjoy reading all your posts, you have a way of saying things that are so true but still make me smile. Thanks for working on a spreadsheet, will definitely make things so much easier. Afraid I am not very inventive as far as my screen name goes, "Peter" is the same as my real name on both sites.
Cherryl I am guessing the Cubbies are your team who won and play baseball? Hope you got to have another wonderful Saturday night dinner mate
Nicki Halloween must be a big celebration from the sound of it, not as big down under, do you get a holiday over there for it?
Madison "You Honk..We Drink" might have to look further into that, sounds like a great idea, we are now enjoying our mild spring weather, and summer commences on 1st December.
Brenda you can only do your best, which is what I am sure you are doing, very sad when family members vent their uncalled for anger at another. Praying that things start to settle down for you my friend.
NancyLee, hope you are feeling stronger today and are able to get some sleep.
Charlene, hope you are not too sore mate, and that Audrey saves her best for when you are able to see her next soccer game.
Trish It sounds so peaceful, watching all the little critters, thinking some of them might become dinner for that big crab you described. Hope you continue to enjoy your weekend.
Robin glad you were able to let us know what is happening, praying that the worst is over for you mate.
Deb C thanks for your kind words of support, I still get my days mixed up with your time, Hope your daughter Katie has/had a great party and you all enjoy/enjoyed yourselves at the skating rink.

Blue enjoyed the jokes you posted gave me many smiles
Karen, hope I have not missed your post as I always enjoy reading them, wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Shokk thanks again mate for inviting me to answer your question, had not intended to reply with my history, but thought it was the best way to provide a reason for my answer. Know we do not get a chance to enjoy your posts on the weekend, so hoping you had a good one and wishing you all the best for the rest of the week.
Carynn another refreshing story, glad it turned out so well and you made some new friends. Mate never feel like you have to catch up, things move so fast here some days its, well impossible, just good to know your here and we get to enjoy reading your posts.
Gina you continue to amaze, still making so many improvements to the site, and showing so much care for others even though you have another big week yourself coming up, wishing you all the best and keeping you in my prayers.

Sue keeping Adele in my thoughts and prayers
Sheri congratulations in getting the part in the play, and hope that your appointments go well next week
Nicki, you sure do know how to wind down and relax at the weekend, wish you would pass on a few tips to your sunshine sister Vickie
Odalys thanks for starting the party rolling last night, sorry I did not join in very much, but my old computer had trouble loading the pages on the bco site. I am still wondering what you found for me in that picture that did not come out.
Wild/Jan Your son has had an amazing journey to get where he wanted to go with the Marines, and you must be one of the proudest of moms with what he has achieved.
Liz passing on my thanks to you again for the work you are putting in to set up the Christmas Card List, will be looking around during the week for some great cards to send to my sisters.
Amy keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, hope everything went well for you.
Pam sweet sister, I think you said you were having some computer problems, miss your kind words you always have to share. Bet your song was great last night, hope you enjoyed the occasion and get a chance to sit back and relax today.
Jankay, looking forward to catching up with you again this week and laughing at some more of your jokes. Vickie said she has been lonely in the showers lately.
Any sisters from Amy to Z sorry if I have missed you, but want you to know I am always thinking of you.

Good Morning Everyone: Didnt bring any sunshine today. I cant help it, I thought this picture was just too darn cute.
Odalys: Not up to doing much. Didnt like the way things were falling into play with that interview. Heard many bad things about administrator - so I still driving about evaluating people. Guess I shouldnt complain as it is nice to be out when the weather is so great.
Marsha: Hmmmm me thinks someone read your mind. I think the hardest day for me was the day before my surgery. I know your gonna do just fine - get it over with so you can move on to better things.
CY: Im glad your home and feeling better. Sounds like that infection was pretty bad. Good luck with the port removal tomorrow.
candie: Eczema sounds pretty yucky. Hope that cream works. Did you ever get to the Fall festival yesterday. I was gonna go to a Johnny Appleseed fest, but just got too darn lazy and stayed home.
Cheri: Im not surprized the leg is swollen after all that driving you did. Hoping its better today.
MargaretB: The Hamptons and The Cabana are my first stops now. Greatful the week-end is hear so I can catch up on what happening here on bc.org! Now why in the heck is your head itching?
Well, its off to exercise and walk the dog. Have a great day.

Good Morning Everyone. I thought I'd start over here today at the "mothership" since I can't seem to keep up with all the boards I'm on! I'm missing some of you that don't go to the Hamptons. Some of you I see everywhere though which is cool.
Jazz ... I Love seeing you posting more. My fill pain is Very gradually easing but I'm still very sore. I can hold Ava again though which is telling.
Cheri ... I'm glad you got the picture posting down. I haven't checked my email yet today because I'm using Karl's computer. I'll do that as soon as I can to see how you're doing with your avatar. My PC is in the bedroom and Karl is sleeping .. I don't want to wake him up. The cabana was a blast yesterday ... it was almost like we were in a chat room it was moving so fast! Too fun! I hope your leg swelling has gone down.
Donna ... Nice to see you pop in.
CherylnC ... Glad your labs came back fine. Our meds can really mess with our levels. I'm happy that you like the Angels I post! I'm sure you're going to enjoy that well deserved trip. You have been through so much. I know that's an understatement too.
Jan ... Always good seeing you
BooSue ... Glad you had a great time at the conference. Is there a story behind your name (Boo)? I always love a good story. I'm hoping Adele is doing as well as can be.
Marsha ... I hope you have a nice relaxing day today. You're too funny!
Odalys ... I'm doing better each day. My girls are doing great although Ava is showing terrible two behavior and lack of mother attention lol Hoping to rein that in somewhat as I get better. Audrey is doing Great with her new teacher. She likes her ... says she's strict but only when she has to be. She's bringing home A+'s all the time and enjoying school. How is Steven doing? Is he in fourth grade this year? It was nice to be back on the party thread again.
Candie ... Audrey has suffered eczema since she was a baby. Sometimes it's really bad. The cortisone-steroid cream should help. One thing to help prevent flare ups after you get through this bout is to make sure you moisturize well every day. Eucerin Calming Cream is great to use for itching.
Audrey is great ... the swelling and black eye didn't last very long. The icing all night when she got it helped that. My boobies are hard and sore, but more bearable now.
CY ... I am feeling better thank you for asking. So glad you are getting some rest.
That was nice of you to invite Medical418 to the circle. She's in a bad spot and could use our support. I hope she comes over.
Susan ... I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Nicki and Peter ... hello to you
Okay I think I'm caught up here, I hope I didn't miss anyone. Thinking of everyone and hoping you all have a wonderful Sunday!Hugs and Love
Charlene

Peter, you will have to check out the drinks. Be careful, cosmos can give you a headache if you drink too many. They taste so good though.
Nicki, I don't know why my head is itching. It's driving me crazy but it is better than yesterday. I need to get up and shower but I know there are dead ANTS in the bathroom that I have to clean up and don't feel like doing it right now.
Charlene, you always post the prettiest pictures.
Time to check the Hamptons before showering.
Margaret

Cherylnc>your trip should really do wonders for you! DH and I managed to do two vacations this year thanks to his bonus check. We normally take a vacation about once every 5 years. First one was a motorcycle/trike trip to Illinois from Oklahoma through Missouri for a mini family reunion at my Mom's 80th birthday party, we then drove across Iowa and Nebraska to spend 5 days in Colorado at a motorcycle event. Over 3,000 miles on a trike we just got 3 days before the trip!
Sorry haven't written much here lately but once I post in the Hamptons I don't want to repeat myself here and bore y'all since I am doing some long posts lately.
Then we did a trip to San Diego by plane to see our Marine son. It was my first time ever in California. I wore my arm sleeve for the first time as they told me its a preventive method since there is no cure for lymphedema.

Hi Everyone !
Sorry I haven't had time to post much over the past couple of weeks. I got home from Europe a week ago and it has been go, go,go since then.
Met up with Sue/Boo and several others for lunch on Friday, then had several of our bco chatters stay at my home on Friday evening. We had a lot of fun.
I am surprised any of us could stay awake during the conference in Tampa on Saturday, since most of us only had about an hour or two's sleep. But, the conference was great and I think we all learned a lot.
I will post a link to pictures on the Get-Togethers thread, as soon as I get a chance to upload them from my camera!
Sue/Boo it was great to finally meet you. I hope we will keep in closer touch from now on. I will let you know the next time we are all getting together and hope you can join us.
Lori- great to meet you too - and thank you so much for the wonderful Godiva chocolate products - yummmmmmieeeeeeee. We really should have finished that bottle on Friday though! Still, never mind, we can finish it next time around.
Cy- so sorry to hear that you were in hospital. I hope you are feeling much better now. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Cheri - how is the leg healing?
Odalys, so sorry you couldn't join us this weekend.
Marsha - keeping you in my thoughts and I wish you the best of luck with your surgery and above all, a speedy recovery. Hopefully you will be able to join us FL gals the next time we meet.
Purplemb and Vickie - Terricarolyn (from chatroom) and I will definitely be coming over to see you gals while you are in Cocoa Beach. Looking forward to it.
Had my 6-monthly mammo and surgeon follow-up on Friday morning. Everything looks great
. Surgeon said that if he didn't know he had operated on me himself, he would never believe that I had had bc, so that has to be a great sign! See onc again on Monday and hope I can finally persuade him to let me have the port out.
OK ladies and Peter, I have a mountain of laundry waiting to be done. I know I have missed so many of you, but believe me you are all in my heart and thoughts. Love to everyone from A- Z.
Elaine (choca)

Good Sunday Morning to all.
Cy I am so glad to read you are home and oK.
Please rest and take care of yourself.
Things have been quite busy on my end.
I started the xeloda today but only took one pill to see what happens. I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Good afternoon Circle. My, I got a little behind and there are several posts. I try to post two to both bc boards but sometimes just get one in. Feeling pretty good today. Walking around gently with my cane. Yes it does hurt. LOL No pain no gain. Man am I sick of that phrase! The grandsons both got home today at noon and Amber and her bf are renting a video game, getting pizza and going to watch the football game. They were going to take the boys somewhere but Ethan just wanted to stay home.
CY, you're home! I am so glad. Sorry about my phone breaking up and then when I called back you didn't answer. Always have you in my prayers. You are such a good person, from the heart with no other agenda. That is why I like you so much. You are genuine.
Suzola, so sorry to hear about your aunt. Give me a call when you get home so I'll know you're alright.
Margaret, good idea about posting here first. I usually always do that because there's less traffic here.
Candie, so glad you found out your rash is nothing real serious and you got some medicine for it.
Boo, don't have to call you Boo-Who when you hang around, silly. lol
Cherylnc, so happy you are feeling better. Got to get well for your fabulous trip. My leg is better today, thank you.
Nicki, loved the pic you posted this morning. lol So true.
Charlene, we did have fun yesterday didn't we? lol I really enjoyed it. Thanks to you and Odalys for teaching me how to post pics here.
WildJan, are you from OK? If so that makes us neighbors cos I'm from MO.
Choca, glad your mammo was good and my leg is doing well today, thank you.
Wishing everyone a very pleasant Sunday.

Hello to all!
I feel like I've been neglecting so many.............I'm just so scatterbrained lately. I know, you're all so surprised by that!!
Seems like if I miss a day it takes me a week to get back in the groove!!
Glad everyone is doing well..........
Susan: I am sorry to hear that you lost your Aunt. Saying a prayer for you.
Candie: The itchies are a pain.........no pun intended. Glad the cream is helping a bit.
I'm sitting here itching myself..........power of suggestion is a wonderful thing! I have been itchy lately.........not in any one place and there is no rash, so I guess I'm just itchy..............
Odalys: I so wanted to come to your Luau! Sounded like alot of fun.....just couldn't make it.........and as a treat for all, I practiced my Hula Dance and had my Grass Skirt and Coconut Bra all ready to go!
Charlene: You are feeling better........I'm so glad. Yea for Audrey scoring the Goal!! Don't beat yourself up over missing it..........she know's how proud of her you are!!
Dang, sounds like I missed some good talk at the Cabana..........I gotta get over there and check things out!
I'm having trouble keeping all the places straight.............remember, I can't remember what I'm saying half of the time.
Yup, Mini Dumpster Diving.......quite the adventure! I could just imagine, not finding it........calling to cancel it...........husband up north...........him going to use it for Gas or something and being denied!!!!
Brenda: Glad you're so comfortable with us! We have a habit of making 'quiet' ladies into 'mouthy' ladies!
Cherylnc: What a trip that will be! Enjoy, be safe and take lots of pictures!
Marsha: Hey Girlfriend! We haven't gotten into trouble on here in quite a bit.............let me know when you are feeling better and we'll see what we can do!
Cheri: Like I said at the Hamptons..........be proud of the accomplishments, but don't forget to rest the foot!! Love ya!
Nicki: Are you watching Football? DH has it on and for some reason he said he wants Chicago to win...................don't people usually want their Home team to win??
Okay........hope you all have a good day!
Hugs,
Denise

Elaine, can't wait to see the pictures on the Get Together thread. Congrats on the follow up. I hate laundry - I swear mine reproduces.
Gina, thinking of you as you take the xeloda.
Cheryl, I will dig out some fabric softener sheets then too. With the Terro and fabric softener, I should have them wiped out. At least I didn't get them in the freezer like my girlfriend did.
Cheri, I remember how much of a lifesaver this site was for me when first diagnosed and as the wagon circle grew, I spent more time there and less on threads like Just Diagnosed. I think Gina mentioned something about checking in there and I realized she was right. So I check bco first now before going to the Hamptons.
It's amazing how much you get done when you get up early. I went to Starbucks, the farmer's market, breakfast, Costco, have done three loads of laundry, made up the beds in the guest room (still can't believe I finally have one of those after 22 years in this house), got dinner ready for tonight, and just had lunch. Pretty productive I'd say.
Margaret

Margaret.............I am such a lame brain. I still have the tiny piece of paper with the original name of the paint that you gave me months ago.
I just cleaned off the desk and CAN NOT find the paper where I had written all of the numbers and such that you just posted!!!!
I'm trying to go back and find your post!!
Hugs,
Denise

Welcome home Choca.

Hi everyone - I've spent most of the day in bed with a splitting headache. I haven't read anything but wanted you guys to read the new thread I made RE: Christmas Card Exchange. If you're already responded to me on another thread - no need to do so again.
Off to lie down again.
Hugs -

it was the nicest thing i've participated in for a long time.
please count me in again and send me the updated list (at 'home' if you can) i don't come here too often anymore but i still check my email everyday because i'm working on a job in Isla Morada ........... shelatk@cogeco.ca ....... if you can't then send it here and i'll try to remember to look more often. btw, sorry about your headache ........ myself my ribs are killing me from this horrible cough i have.
"hi" to everybody ........... i think of you all daily.
-
Just stopped to say hi. I have been to the Hamptons but don't feel much like posting today. I did read all so I can keep up with you over here. Have a good Sunday. What's left of it.
-
Ok.: where or what is the Hamptons? I obviously missed something important!
Shirley: so good to see you here again. How are you doing? Have you settled back in to "normal" life after your visit to FL?
Shel38: I can surely relate with those darned painful ribs! Mine are just starting to feel better - after many months. Hope you feel better soon.
Liz: Sorry to hear you are not feeling good today. Take a cool cloth, put it on your forehead and lie down in a dark room. Hope you feel better tomorrow!
Odalys: sorry I missed the Luau. Maybe next time !
Wishing everyone a good night and a great start to the week!
Hugs and chocolate xxxx

Hey Elaine
Hope you are feeling well and refreshed mate
The Hamptons is a site which Gina was kind enough to set up while all
the upgrades were happening on the bco site. Call on over and you will
see a lot of familiar faces along with some great new circle girls.
http://www.websitetoolbox.com/mb/nosurrenderbreastcancer
Have a great night and week
Peter

Choca, indeed I am. Just got home from my spending a week at my daughters. Either rebroke or broke another rib while I was there. Which means I have happy drugs which makes me happy.
All is good.
Is your cough all gone?

HI to all,
Hope you all had a great Sunday. The Fall Festival I went to last night was fun. Lots of rides for kids, bobbing for apples, music, great food, fall items to buy and all kinds of breads to buy too. It was a gorgeous evening weather wise and a nice night to be outside. The cream the Dr gave me seems to have started working today. Not so itchy tonight. Just can't wait for the rash and black and blues to go away. It makes me sick to look at it and it looks like someone beat with a baseball bat--really!!
When I went to church this morning, I said prayers for my bc sisters and brother,Peter. I asked God to keep you all safe and healthy.
2nd week for Sunday School classes today..here we call it CCD. 4th grade . I have a cute boy,Ian, in my class but boy what a scorcher. He will definitely be a challenge for me this year. But I do like challenges!!
Susan, sorry to hear about your aunt. My prayers to you and your family
Cy,take care and please rest
Peter, so glad to see you here. Prayers for your results from Dr this week
Cherylinc,glad u are feeling better
Nicki, love the pic. You re right---too darn cute!!
Charlene, thanks for suggesting the eucerin cream
Elaine,congrats on good mammo results
Liz, hope you're feeling better
Everyone from A to Z--have a good night's sleep
Hugs and prayers,
Candie
Susan, sorry to hear about your Aunt. My prayers to you and your family.

Where do I find that survivor post that some of you have been talking about? I would like to read it too. Thanks
-
Good evening sweet sisters and Peter....
Every time I type that it reminds me of a writer's conference I went to a few years ago. It was a 6 day conference and I made fast friends with a group of 6 lady writers and one guy named Randy. We were all a bit on the wild side (imagine that) and we were always a bit louder and more...shall we say, colorful than most of the group. On the 3rd day we went and had a buttons made that said "The Wild Women, and Randy". We thought we were being SO clever with our double meaning....
Anyway...I digress....
Susan - I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt. I hope you can at least enjoy some time visiting with family. Hugs
Odalys - Drats, I missed the Luau! And I love a god Mai-Tai (Did I spell that right?) Hope you are doing well.
CY - I am so glad you are home...now rest up and feel better...I'm shaking my Mom finger at you. Sending you huge, healing hugs
Charlene - Sounds like your pain is getting better. Hang in there.
OK...so many more folks I want to talk to, but I am running short on time. I'm going to copy a post I did in the HAmptons this morning. I'll try and come back later and catch up with posting to everyone else. In the mean time....hugs all around.
We had a great party at the roller rink last night for Katie's 13th b-day. We had about 70 people there. It was a ton of fun, and even better all I had to do is cook the food and show up...no house cleaning before or after....I loved that part.
the newspaper article about breast cancer awareness month came out in the paper today. There were only a few major things I didn't like or things that were wrong...like that I had 33 WEEKS of radiation treatments...Hmmmm...and I don't even glow in the dark...LOL. I also gritted my teeth at the "death sentence" thing with stage 4....A few other typos stood out, but all in all I think she did a good job.
http://www.peninsulaclarion.com/stories/093007/people_4048.shtml
They also ran my essay in the print paper, but I can't find it on the web site. I know they don't put all their content on the web, so it may not be out there. Here is a link to the same essay on my blog.
http://glassylady41.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!4F64BBD936336D52!560.entry
I had 3 ladies at church this morning promise me they were going in for mammograms and I have an e-mail from a local woman I don't know who also had a bilat mast and is looking for a support group. In a lot of ways I am sick of being a small town "breast cancer poster child...but if even one woman gets a mammogram that would not have done it otherwise, it is worth it.
-
Candie sounds like you had a great weekend my friend, wishing many sweet dreams. This is the link to the post you were after.
