Great total.  I raised $600 from 10 people...so I was impressed with that, especially since I've done other fundraisers this year (yard sale for the cure) as well.

Toronto is tomorrow as well...and I have a friend doing this in Montreal as well.  Weather here is meant to be perfect, hope it is with everyone else.

oh girls ........... i am nearly heartbroken ............. i couldn't get today off so couldn't participate.  i asked my ex husband to take my daughter to the event, he didn't, he 'forgot all about it' ..............oh well.

i went down to the waterfront on my breakfast break and watched the sea of pink walking and laughing and determined .............. it was so good to see even though i wished i'd been represented by my family in my abscence.

i'll be sure to have it booked off next year lol!

i hope it was as beautiful in your cities!

The walk was fantastic.  Great weather, but even if it had been pouring with rain, the atmosphere, the love, the support, the hope, the courage and the strength would have carried the day.  I was most touched to have my husband and my sons with me and my younger son had 3 friends who insisted on joining us.  Gives me hope for the future when young people of 16 are enthused about this.  Lots of spirit and I look forward to doing it again next year and the year after and the year after....I'd like to be here to see the end to breast cancer.
