I'm scared
Hi,I'm scared and confused, First, I have made an appoitment to get this checked out, However not for about another 3 weeks.
Yesterday , I was fixing my bra strap as it was loose, and when my left hand was reaching over to the bra strap, I felt this strange lump or bump on my right breast
I tried to squeeze a bit of the bump, thinking it would be ,like a big pimple, as I did this I felt something wet after I squeezed it, or kinda pinched it.
I looked at the colour and texture,It was watery for the most part and it had a kinda clear colour,no oder, also as it has another colour with it, The easiest way to tell you the colour would be like dish water after sittig in the sink awhile.
Here's where I'm confused about in 2002 or 2003,
I found a hard lump or bump in my left bra line ,it was hard and solid,I went to Emerg and the Doctor could no believe what he saw, He also tryed to pop it ,as whatever was in there was far into my skin. He had called in the nurse to assit and witness what he was seeing and feeling, He squeezed even harder , but this texture was thick and had a god awful smell, also it was white in colour ,the whole thing was similar to when a person squeezes or pops a whitehead or black head,That was exactly what the colour and smell was , but on a much larger scale.
Yesterday it was larger ,today it kinda feels like it's gone inwards , instead of the lump getting larger it is more into the breast now.
Still when I run my finger over it it's so very soft the outer skin, yet its gone inwards more today,
Has anybody ever had or heard of what I have tryed to explain,It is difficult for me to explain something verbally, but anything anyone can tell me ,in regards to what this could be?
plz I'm getting more and more scared,
thanx ahead

OF COURSE YOU ARE SCARED! We have all been there. Trying to analyze what you are feeling yourself is impossible. It could be this or it could be that.....but exactly what it is can only be determined by a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. Get it checked out AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Don't let doctors push you off with "it's nothing". You need to know for sure what it is. Good luck to you and prayers that whatever it is, it's B9. We are here for you if it is the ugly C word. Good Luck ((((((((((hugs)))))))))

Hard to describe in words what we've discovered isn't it? What you might have are sebaceous cysts which can happen anywhere and everywhere on the body. Something like a boil but more like a whitehead as you've described. They can build up for a long time and go very deep. I've had many. Never on my breast but in other places and it would never surprise me if I ended up with one there.
Waiting 3 weeks seems like a long time for an appointment with a gp. I would be tempted to call back and explain the urgency you are feeling with this and see if you could get something earlier (for your peace of mind), or at best tell the nurse/receptionist you would like to be put on a list for a cancellation. I would also want a referral...one for a mammogram to be having a look inside and one for a dermatologist in case it is a sebaceous cyst. They can be removed to the core because even if it seems like it has drained or emptied they quite often come back unless they are taken out at the core.
