Oh, what joyful news Calico! I am so very happy for you and your dear husband.

I remember after waiting a whole 7 days for one of many biopsy reports, the surgeon saying "oh,... I'm sorry you had a heart attack over this...". I felt so humiliated.

And then when I did have cancer, they waited 7 days from issuance of the report to tell me too. There's something about me and 7's.

It's tragic that with breast cancer being the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women, that any and all reports are not treated with the utmost respect of the patient and with a sense of urgency. Especially, it seems to me, when more and more the surgeons themselves have breasts!

Edit, Oops, they all have breasts, don't they! But I think you know what I mean. (grin face)T

    LOL Tender,

you made me smile Smile and yes, they just don't get that part with the fear, so it seems....

Waiting is almost as mean as the disease itself, isn't it? I am going for my (hopefully last) PET next week - checking on that darn lung nodule that I had for 2 years and hopefully still have unchanged, which means it is nothing.

Then the wait is on again until the 15th until I get results....waaahhhh....I am horribly scared of those....last one was in Feb.....a long time for something to develop and trust me, everything in my body is hurting right now...pengs and twitches all over, they usually disappear when my onc says that all is okay....

    Got to have faith.

    God Bless
