Thanks, Iris, I actually got a call from my doctor's nurse today. She said that they want to "talk" to me in the office sometime tomorrow. So I guess I get whatever news they know on Friday the 13th. Hope that's a lucky co-incidence because I was born on the 13th and turned 13 on the 13th so I always considered that a lucky day. Hope it holds true to form. It's good to hear from you. Hugs and prayers. NancyLee

Mixed news so far--Pap test clean--Ultrasounds unremarkable, but inconclusive so tomorrow morning I drink the dreaded barium sufate Redi-CAT2 and hop into another CAT scan machine. Then it's back to waiting. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. I'm hanging in there. Hugs and Prayers--NancyLee

The power of prayer is a wonderful blessing. CAT scat showed nothing dreadful and the MRI came up with worsening arthritis in my spine, but nothing other than that!! Thank you, God. After every sort of invasion of my body possible to medical science, I've come away with this wonderful quote from a book I read in the waiting room--"Everything precious including our dignity can be taken from us but the one thing that cannot be taken away is our power to choose what attitude we will take toward the events that have happened." BRAVERY--ENDURANCE--HOPE--COURAGE--NancyLee

I'd like to ask you to add my sweet mother to your prayers as I have just put her in hospice care. She is in the final stages of colon cancer and needs our prayers as she takes the last steps in her earthly journey. Thank you--NancyLee

Thanks, Iris and thanks to the keepers of the prayer chain for adding my mom. I spent the past 2 weekends with my sweet mom and she is resting peacefully with the pain patches. We had some good talks and I am feeling better now that the hospice people are looking in on her too. On my own health front, I'm having some more tests this week--saw two OB/GYNs today and will be traveling up again for new MRIs. Someday, I hope to have all my "plumbing" fixed!! Hugs and Prayers--NancyLee

Iris, I have an appointment at 8:30 Monday morning up at the hospital in Glendive to have a pelvic MRI plus an MRA to look at the blood vessels down there and get a clearer picture of what's happening. I'm praying that they actually DO find out what it is this time. I'm driving up there tomorrow afternoon and have a motel reservation because I'd have to leave home at 6:30 in the morning to get up there on time and there is some road construction between here and there. I'm never too sure how long I have to sit and visit with the flag person. Sometimes it's just 10 minutes, but last week it was 45 minutes and I think the motel idea would work out better in terms of me actually arriving at the hospital on time. Hope you are having a great weekend--I'm sorta melting because it's so HOT here. Hugs & prayers from the Montana Gtush side of the family!! NancyLee

Thanks, Stephanie, I'm checking into the hospital early tomorrow morning and will be having laproscopic exploritory surgery. The docs are going to "take a look" at my problem ovary and see if it needs to come out. I'm looking forward to getting some sleep!! When I wake up, I'll finally know what's up down there--Life is Good--Hugs and Prayers--NancyLee

So it ALL has to come out. I have surgery on Tuesday, the 24th and will be in the hospital til Friday the 29th. They would have just gone ahead and done the complete surgery on the 13th when they did the exploratory, but I wanted to go to the Relay for Life last night and I made them wait until after the Relay. I was the top $$ raiser on all of the teams there. It was really cool and I got to carry the Survivor banner along with 4 other survivors. It was really hot and humid, but doable like all things you really put your mind and heart to. So after the 24th I think they will have taken every spare part out of me that I can live without except maybe one kidney or something!! I'll just be glad to get rid of the pain--Better go rest awhile--I walked most of the night. Hugs and prayers--NancyLee

Puppy, how are you? I'm recovering at home. Had a little trouble with blood clots forming after the surgery and didn't get out of the hospital right away. They didn't want me to be alone out at my ranch so they kept me longer than usual. Then I had to go back a couple of days later for ultrasounds and tests for more clots. It was a little scary, but when I went back last Tuesday for my path report and checkup--it was good news. The tumors and cysts that were causing all my pain in the ovaries were all B9!! They found more lesions and cysts in the uterous that were also still B9 and are now in a lab somewhere not in me causing problems!! I'm just happy to have one more worry off my mind and the pain gone. I'm supposed to give this 4-6 weeks to heal completely and I'm actually listening to Drs' orders this time and resting as much as possible. Thank you so much for your prayers and I hope you know that you are in mine as well. Hugs and Prayers--NancyLee

Friday, the 14th will be my big checkup day.  I have bloodwork first thing in the morning.  At 9 I see my OB/GYNs and they will make sure that everything is healing up right from the July surgeries.  Then at 10:15 I see my Oncologist.  I think I could use some additional prayers on that day or just some good thoughts sent up to Montana.  Thanks--Hugs and prayers--NancyLee-

Still haven't heard any news on the scans??Don't know if that's a "no news is good news" thing or not.  I still am in bed with the pneumonia.  It seems like a hard one to shake this time.  SIGHFrown  Hugs and Prayers--NancyLee
