This is scary and I'm pretty sure that similar results would be found in the US as well:

I always have an excuse and I am getting puffier and flabbier. I always blame the Arimidex, but I bet that it is the fact that I am not active enough. I am still mourning the loss of my 105 pound old self. I gotta snap outta this!

Take heart, FitChick...it's not just the Brits.  This is another epidemic racing across the globe.  In the USA, the schools get blamed for our overweight kids, but these same studies neglect to point out that when the kids get home, it's off to the couch with a bag of chips and a pop!! Not all mind you, but I'm willing to bet there is quite a number.  My husband and I used to be vendors on Market Days around our area before I was dx with bc., and the number of overweight people is staggering. I was amazed....adult and children alike---and not by just a few pounds either....I mean SERIOUSLY overweight.  And these would be the people with all kinds of junk food in their hands as they lumbered from booth to booth.

I tend to exercise more in the winter because I am in school, and race back and forth between campuses and run up and down stairs.  However, as far as really going to the gym and working out regularly, I fall back into the group of ----no.  OOPS. Embarassed I do struggle with my weight, and so far can manage, but one of these days, will have to get serious about it.
