I found a wonderful book written by Barbara Delansky called "Uplift: secrets from the sisterhood of Breast cancer survivors". It was assembled by her from comments from survivors that helped them get through the treatments. I got the third edition of her book. I ordered mine through the walden book store. I think that it was about $15.00 but well worth the price.
Sheila.

    Sheila,

I also read that book. I also thought it was inspiring. I could relate that she lived in Iowa, like me. I was saddened that she had a recurrence after 8 yrs. though. That was disheartening but a fact that we must all face, I guess. For anyone that was recently diagnosed, I found a book titled "Mayo CLinic: A Guide to Women's Cancer" an excellent book for information and survivor's stories. It is a very easy read (not too technical) and well-worth the time.

    Cheryll
